The tag on the inside says 100% cotton...so, the tag on the outside says silk. So, either this is an attempt to add a tag to a used shirt or something else, which is it? Thanks

@jswible67 Thank you for pointing out the discrepancy to me. I will check the shirt tomorrow. I buy ALL my clothing new, either for myself or family members. That shirt was purchased from J.C. Penney BRAND NEW! I personally purchased it. I don’t even purchase from thrift shops (not that there is anything wrong with that) I’m very meticulous about making sure details are accurate on my items and usually add more information than is necessary. I will let you know which it is.

@jswible67 Well Jeff, to assist your quest I tried to contact the manufacturer to no avail as yet. I did a quick search however and EVERY shirt for sale has the same info. So unless EVERY SELLER has changed their tags as you were insinuating (the thought of doing that has NEVER EVEN crossed my mind) I think the answer to your question is something else. I cannot assist you any further. The shirt is there brand new with the original tag as before in case you wish to purchase. Have an amazing day.
