Selling my Berta wedding gown! This is a sample gown that was purchased in Berta's Flagship store in NYC February 2020 for my summer wedding that was planned to be in a grand ballroom. Due to Covid, we ended up getting married in the backyard so this super sparkly beauty was just a little too much. I ended up purchasing another much more casual gown. No tailoring/alterations. Absolutely stunning. So sparkly! More details below in comments. Also available for less on competitor site.

Very comfortable, flattering, and hugs in all the right places. There is a built in spanx-like undergarment sewn into the dress. The zippers are intact and function but does need some resewing on the inside "spanx" layer. Also hand sewn built-in bra.

This is a Berta sample gown--a one-of-a-kind design that was worn on the runway and was never recreated/put into production. Plunging illusion neckline, hand sewn sequin detail throughout. Very low back with illusion lace. Im told this was a 2018 design. There are several small imperfections to the gown that a seamstress/tailor could very easily fix.

Small tear in seam to the back at the area of bustle about 2 inches long as shown in photo. Areas of missing/sparse sequins to the back at illusion sheer lace as shown, but can easily be replaced. There is a small hole as shown to the end of the dress that looks like a stiletto or shoe may have torn, easily could be repaired as well or if you are short like me, may be taken anyway with alterations to the hem.

There are loose/stray threads to the dress due to the nature of it being all hand-sewn and a sample. There are two layers to this dress. The top layer is all sequins that becomes more sheer towards the train of the dress. Underlayer is a satin material with lace detail.
No alterations were done to the dress. Serious inquiries only please.

@alexh07 No, its not discolored. Its sheer/thin. The bottom/train isnt in perfect condition. There is a small hole as shown in photo and missing some sequins. But not discolored. Lmk if any questions!

@amyb15 17-205 was what is on the reciept and what the Berta sample store said so Im assuming thats correct. I wish I could find a photo of it on a model, would be much easier to sell! I dont do it justice. But its a beautiful gown.
