Inspired by the original Burberry trench coat, it features distinctive military-inspired polished metal buttons, long sleeves with zip cuffs and buttoned straps, padded shoulders with buttoned epaulettes, a collared neckline with a smooth leather throat latch, a front rain shield, front button closures, inverted pleats at the closely fitted waist, front flap pockets, a back vent, and is lined in a blue plaid cotton on the upper body, and a tonal satin on the sleeves and lower body.
