anandahonculada @jnc650 I took them down. But honestly, it's my sweatshirt and I'm a girl. State college sweatshirts are pretty asexual. I know plenty of men who wear "women's" clothing and vice-versa.

anandahonculada @jnc650 I understand you believe you're trying to be helpful, but your statements are incorrect, deeming them unhelpful. The only way my closet could be out of compliance is if I listed prohibited items for sale, or described items in a prohibited way.

jnc650 @anandahonculada it is not incorrect – there are multiple statements throughout the FAQs and the community guidelines that say this app is for women's fashion and accessories and it asks that people do not post items that do not fall into those two categories

anandahonculada @jnc650 The point is, my closet was compliant. The thing is, Poshmark doesn't prohibit listing men's clothing or children's clothing for that matter. I would guess it's because this is a public app, and they can't really say what is or isn't women's clothing. Believe it or not, it falls under a sexual orientation issue. I'm not sure why you insist on saying its prohibited when the list of prohibited items are quite different.

anandahonculada I think the misunderstanding is in the understanding of the Poshmark guidelines. Men's clothing is not prohibited. It simply isn't. Please review it yourself. I took the listing down right after it was brought up. My only point is it is not listed anywhere as making a closet noncompliant. I have worked for attorneys for many years and have an understanding of the wording used throughout the guidelines.

anandahonculada This is what the wording in the actual guidelines say "Poshmark is a marketplace for women's fashion and accessories. Please refrain from listing items that do not fall into this category. Such listings clutter the marketplace and make shopping for fashion more difficult and less enjoyable for others." It simply asks you to refrain from listing them. Then it goes on to specifically list prohibited items.

marie5143 @anandahonculada 💐 thank you .. I will work with you there is one possibility 2 items... 1) if you choose to give a "liquid perfume" as a free gift that is up to you... However because we cannot sell the perfume I would advise that you remove it. 2) wigs are also not allowed I understand it is part of a Halloween costume. Your package does not say NEW, therefore it is absolutely prohibited. If you would address to those two items than you are set. Thank you so much for understanding. 💞

I received an email on 10/02 stating liquids were allowed as long as shipped to prevent spillage. It's the 2nd listing in my closet. Its @/nikle714 😃 went on break while the best of fall/winter share group started with @/marie5143 but on march first will be the re opening of that same share group again. You can keep hosting the best of fall & winter as long as you want though. Many ladies LOVE that share group😍 & they love u as there host😉👍🏻 let me know if you want to keep on hosting it or if you want to put it on break🍁❄️ THANKS FOR EVERYTHING PFF😘😘😘
