Christian Dior vintage "The Suit" skirt suit houndstooth 80s 6 women ladies

Christian Dior vintage two piece skirt suit, size 6 (note: vintage sizing). Appears to be from the 1980s (this is a guess, not certain) based on tag and shoulder pads. Two button closure in front. Skirt has zipper closure and button at center back. Gently worn, in excellent used condition. Only flaw: appears to be missing a belt, and one of the loops for the belt has broken (easily removable or repaired). Kick pleat in back needs to be ironed down. Can be worn with a belt if desired. Dry clean. Dark navy and tan fine houndstooth pattern. Gorgeous material. Missing care tag, but fabric feels like a fine wool. Made in the USA. Approximate lie-flat external measurements: Jacket: - 17.5 in. pit to pit - 14 in. across at waist seam - 24 in. length (measured at center back) Skirt: - 12.5 in. across at waist - 26 in. length (measured at center back)
