lolabella6 @postalpoly Here are some suggestions on how to sell more: 1. Use the apps to add effects/text/designs to your cover shots 2.congratulate co-hosts a few days before their party, so they might check out your closet for possible host picks 3. In order to get a host pick you need to follow all poshmark rules 4.share a lot of listings, and they most likely will return the favor 5. Follow lots of people, some will follow back!

lolabella6 @liliana91 Welcome to Poshmark! Great start to your closet. I thought I would let you know that Poshmark does not allow non- PM transactions, and discourages outside communication (email/text/etc.). It's risking having your closet shut down 👎, which I am sure you don't want to happen. Also, in order for your closet to be considered for possible host picks, it must comply with all of the rules. For example, inspired items are not allowed. I did not know about all of Poshmark's rules when I first joined either, but am so glad someone told me about them! You have an awesome closet! lolabella6 @liliana91 no, they don't allow outside communication(emails). If needed, you can always make an extra post with the title "extra pictures of ____" 😊

lolabella6 @liliana91 you just share your available items. The most recently shared items are at the top. So once I sell an item. I share everything above the "sold" sign (including the "everything past this is sold" listing) that way, everything that is sold/bundled is below the sign 😊And you're welcome 💟

ccappello1 This has been so helpful. I had no idea as im new. I read through as much as i could find but never saw this anywhere. So being I want to be successful and get chosen for HP etc. How do I now take down my nail polish post. And what if Ive sold perfume already, not knowing (its week 2 for me) should I take that down as well? Sorry I just wanna do this right!

I'm glad I could help😊You can delete a listing by pressing edit and then if you scroll down, there is a delete button.😉I don't think you need to delete the listing. However, you can put a listing in your closet saying that your closet is a posh rule following closet😊 (once a listing is sold, I don't think you can delete it)

ccappello1 May I just ask one more thing, can you suggest how you started selling items? I have been sharing my closet, I also share at least 1 item of every person who follows me. I thank everyone who likes, or shares my posts. I try to take great photos and give very specific descriptions. I know I am only 2 weeks in, but I would love suggestions. Ive only made 1 sale so far! Thanks again. :)

ccappello1 Ok great, thanks for all the advice. I am going to delete the nail polish right now. Maybe I can use them as free gifts with purchase as a surprise for the buyers...is this allowed? You truly have been a God send with all of the advice. Thanks again....have a beautiful weekend. kbusenburg Hello! Thank you for all the helpful information you've posted for all of us. I'm curious about something and I don't know if you can help with this but I thought I'd ask. I know Posh rules don't allow the sale of men's or children's clothes but I'm seeing an increasing number of closets selling these items, does Posh regulate the postings in anyway? It's quite frustrating to search am item like "jeans" and have to scroll through so many men's/children's jeans. I've also seen several men with closets on here and that strikes me as odd, some have mixed men's and women's items and others have just men's items. I was interested in a pair of heels and asked the seller a question and the answer I got back was "I don't know I don't wear these kinds of shoes I'm a guy". I was like OK! lol I'm new to Posh so I don't really know all the ins and outs. Thanks in advance 😃

Posh does regulate the closets and the best thing that you can do when you see a closet or an item that doesn't follow Posh Rules is report them. Just click on the button in the top right corner. lolabella6 @jacquigoddess hi! It is VERY important to follow these rules. Unsupported items can be reported and you can risk your closet being shut down. Also, you can only get host picks (for the nightly posh parties), which help with sales and followers, if you follow ALL rules! @official_forum is a great page to follow with a bunch of different helpful hints and tips
