920designs Oh that's another beautiful place. Tulum MX. There is few hotels or places with electricity 24 hr a day. We stayed at a place with 0 electricity. You think no that's not going to work. It didn't only work it was magical. I'll send you a pic or 2. That's the tip I the place a large hollowed out tree trunk. It was huge. You need a lot of candles to see anything, the deck extended over the Clift. The waves crashed right at the bottom. At the end of deck was a tile tub. H20 is heated (most time) by propane. But at night in that tup no artificial lights you see all constellations. We sat out there & sang little feet songs. Such an outrageously wonderful vaca.

920designs @marykat - I don't know if your napping but I'm going to put other pics. Yes it is a place of mediation. Many go with a friend just to be away, you'll see. If u want to around others u can. I met a group of Peruvian artists. Their dogs took to me. Funny they dye the hair on the dogs. I've got pics of the dogs also. There is meaning behind that but I don't remember, sad that I don't because of language barrier it took a hour to communicate it to me. But they convinced me Peru is a destination I need to go. Pure beautiful land. Oh life is too short.

920designs @marykat - Now when I get home from a craft show I'm digging up better. There is no reason you & your husband haven't headed out there. Shoot we could go. It the perfect peace, no electricity & it doesn't mater. But must remember to light candles before dark. It is light outside at night because of the stars and moon are so bright w/o man made lights. When you head in to bed can't find your way, wake up in AM bruised. I love that place. You wanna go? Oh, they use propane to heat the water for hot tup at end of deck and that super large bathtub. Pure bliss dry your hair in the breeze.

920designs @tomalee - You'll have to convince your husband to travel to southern Mexico Tulum to soak in that tub. No electricity there. Well meet you there in march, whatcha say? It's beauty undefined until seen....

tomalee @920designs Ahhhhhhhh. That would be heaven, my old bones could use it for sure. No electricity? That's the kind of place I could live for a barefoot, sandy vacation--tie a bandanna in ir grab a hat and be a beachcomber away from it all for a long rest-except eating fresh seafood every day. Lol. My local BFF and I met about 5 years ago quite by accident and we just clicked. We really have nothing in common, except we just GET each other. She's 52 and I'm soon to b 70 in Feb, but we have soooo much fun. Hubby had a good time today just listening to us laugh and work in my crapped up piled up closet and hallway. We got a lot done and I'm aching all over. Lol. SHE got a lot done-it will be weeks working a couple days a week before we even start to list anything--I have way TOOO much stuff. One major problem is my purchases and the thing I am wanting to post are all mixed and are EVERYWHERE- but we will get there. Will tell u more about how we met another time - going to shower and go to bed--I am very WEARY. lol. But it's a good feeling. Love to you and hope all is coming along well w/ you. Ttfn. XOXO GNITE

It doesn't cost much to go. Wood casitas on a cliff over looking golf. Deck shoots out away from door, with a hot tub on end. The do he be propane tanks to heat bath water. I need to post other pictures. Let's go, there are some places with electricity. The star light is all you need. Awesome.

920designs @peppa1 - Oh, Peppa I took a break at work & noted you are back. Are you here to taunt me. Or have you been engaged in the world few of us are privileged to get to enter, yes the world of imoji. Watch once your in you never get out, it's like hotel California. Now no need to point out grammatical errors I make quite a few. Usually I am double tasking, sometimes I use Spanglish, yes start intermixing Spanish & English. Never realize that until the next day as few are as up front as you, Spanglish usually scares most away. Well back to work, have a great afternoon, by the way, I enjoy an occasional taunt. Yes, a little challenge, when I have time, is always fun.

920designs @tudie11 - funny you liked that today. I'm at work, now but was previously looking into getting that same spot for Feb. Should see some place different but need to relax & unplug. This is the best treatment for any problem pain, illness, nothing compares. It's the earth as God gave us.

920designs @tudie11 - I just read your remark at the perfect time. My husband is dead set on a "resorts" area in Belize. Although I love jungle areas which by the way Tulum is, I do not care to vacation at resorts, were they dictate how you dress, those all inclusive a. I like to be amongst natives or travelers from other countries. In Tulum met a group of young Peruvian musicians. Spent an hour talking due to language barrier learned only a little about Peru but have strong desire to go there.

920designs @tudie11 - I know your just waiting for this update. I was agrevating to husband last night & this AM due to my lack of decisiveness but it really lack of wanting to stay in civilization in Belize. Got a call this AM THIS ROOM BOOKED. It's a feeling, that's all I can say a feeling. Oh, yes soreness from bruises when you walk into furniture when your a newbe & don't realize in an electric free area it is lighter outside than inside at night, so light candles early. Keep one burning in bathroom. Lay out ur change of clothes. It's sounding blissful. Tulum soon.

920designs @nomadique - oh, you liked one of my favorite listings. If you can try to go, it's the most mind clearing unplugged Eco vacations. Yes rustic. But once your there you'll see there is little you need. Azulik Tulum Mx. Ours was up on a Clift with a hot tub hanging over edge. Propane for that. Otherwise bath in the log there, huge, but water a bit salty. Was trying to go back but decided Belize this time. Go for it, you only get one of these lives. Can't do it again.

920designs @nomadique - Then google it pick out a date next Nov & go. Air fare to Mx is cheap. We had this booked for this fen just did it 1 week ago it's like 148/night. No food, they caution u about good in the casita but we packed food & no animals. We went end feb. Then travel both to playa del Carmen stay a few days to have fresh water to clean off. B4 heading back. Cancelled our reservations for a few weeks from now, deciding on going to 2 areas of Belize. One over water one a private island. The more you want to find, you find it's not expensive as staying in a place in US. Plus culture, that's the gain, Tulum is close to Central America & Belize is Central America meet ppl from all over. Peru as well as Europeans. All proud knowledgable people. Can tell you what's in news world wide. Love Antigua for same reason, culture pride.

920designs @nomadique - I certainly understand. My son is a officer in Army reserves now. My daughters boyfriend, well practically husband is a spec opp marine. Hard to find the time. My daughter had to cut their vacation short as he was sent on a short one man mission last minute. I breast feed for 1 year all 3 my kids, I found it easier. Oh, those were the days. We had kids young set out to travel when last got out of HS. Enjoys these days they never return.
