-Freshwater Pearl Bracelet Set (3), Rare Find!

just got back from a very informative visit to the jewelers. this is a three piece bracelet set of authentic Asian (Chinese or Japanese origin) cultured freshwater pearls. the jeweler was very impressed by craftsmanship of these pearls. he explained the method of acid tinting of pearls that are of good quality in size and shape but have organic color defects that prevent them from being deemed as perfect. by tinting these pearls, they are transformed into once again usable gems to create beautiful jewelry. this particular set features the colors copper brown, gold and a smokey rose. pearls are strung on elastic making them adjustable to fit most (see last picture, modeled on my petite wrist) they are really pretty and unique!
