Hand-carved NATURAL RED JASPER NECKLACE w/ Rust Agate & Brilliant Blue Silk Cord

This gorgeous necklace consists of a large, hand-carved, flattened, barrel-shaped Red Jasper pendant bead. The pendant is extra special because of its natural marbling! It has translucent ribbons of continuous stone running through it on 3 of its 4 sides & on both ends. They are not cracks. The stone itself has these interesting “rivers” running through where Agate Stone composition enters Jasper Stone. These natural markings aid in identification of the stone in the field and increase its value, not to mention give it a rustic earthy look. I also noticed the ribbons of stone (probably Quartz) are outlined in an ivory color, often found in this Jasper. It is just neat that they appeared on both sides of the Quartz. Quartz is the Universal Healer, with many therapeutic benefits. I accented this beautiful stone with bronze, a single matte blue African Trade bead & A pretty Agate round. Drop 2.5” Ties 16-22”
