Hawaiian Niihau Laiki Momi Lei

A rare long, long length of glossy white ni’ihau momi shells cascade down, graceful and gleaming, rarer than diamonds, a truly classy lei for any occasion. Carrying the song of the ocean, this has many good memories and luck attached to it. It would be exceptional for a beach bride or groom. Minimalist in feel, this is my personal lei and has been adored for many years. I have loved it well and will miss it once it’s gone. Selling to pay for a little girls education (please see “Why I Posh” for more information), it’s time for the next caretaker to enjoy it. Closure is a simple white cowrie with a matt finish from years of wearing. True Vintage. Hand crafted on Niihau Island long ago, sealed in back with resin, this dates to the 40’s or so. Six strands with traditional puka end caps. NO COA is available. In excellent condition considering it’s about 90 years old, with a few missing shells at the top of the strand, but overall it has worn the decades well. Upon purchase will go to Posh headquarters for authentication and then to you. This process adds about a week to the order. From a smoke free home, treated with respect over the years.
