jjj9_4 @mlb1006 Although i hope we’re not breaking some sort of federal law by using an official customs pouch for other reasons...😬 Are you sure that’s ok? I just ask bc I know what a pain in the arse the USPS can be about what specific packaging is meant for...(thank goodness new poshers will never know the trials of the « flat rate » boxes lol!)

edgyshop_ @jjj9_4 I have been using the pouches for awhile and know many other poshers who do as well. My local PO is also very strict, think no flat rate boxes until the recent changes, no acceptance of packages over the printed weight by any amount, I’ve even been haggled if my printer ink is “too light” - never had any issues with these.

mlb1006 @fab_n_frugal ok when I tag you in follow games, you only do as many or as little as you want! You don’t have to follow all of them! There’s just too many. When you choose to play, you LIKE the listing, SHARE the listing and FOLLOW everyone who has liked the listing. You will be probably following some already, so you just follow the new followers with blue buttons.

mlb1006 @fab_n_frugal In order to start a Tag List, you need to get permission first and then you’re allowed to do mass tagging. Everyone’s list is private, so you can’t use their list. You need to start your own.

mlb1006 @fab_n_frugal Not sure I know what you mean by tagging Poshers. When you tag someone in your listing, you’re having them look at that specific listing. If you want to direct someone to look at a specific follow game or Party listing, you would tag them there.

All you do is look at the Showroom Categories of the Day, then you want to make sure you have your listings with the same key words in title and description. Then share throughout the day to place your item on the top of the feed. Let me know if this makes sense!

topsyturvycnsyn I’ll add a tip that everyone probably already does and knows but it has been invaluable to me. I create the name of my listing and the description of the listing in ‘Notes’ on my phone. Then I copy and paste this when I create my new listings. I used to lose these sometimes cuz in the middle of creating it within the Posh app if I accidentally hit the wrong key or something. Also by creating the listing in Notes if I edit or repost the listing I have all my original info in one place!

mlb1006 @lovemymini Yes, the square mode is easy! But you can also create Square photos using a photo APP too. OMG! Thank goodness for Notes! Right? But I go a step further and save my Tag List from Notes in my email Draft! Have you ever deleted your tag list accidentally from Notes? 🙋🏻‍♀️

mlb1006 @amyloo2 Yes, the Host Pick goes into the Host Pick Showroom. You can also share your items to the Party and it will go into the Main Feed. Your item can only be shared once to the Party, so it’s good to wait and share at the end so it shows on top of the feed! 💞💞💞

mlb1006 @marisalm Host Picks are an honor to get but it doesn’t guarantee a sale. It just gives your item more exposure which will increase the chance for a sale. But honestly, keep sharing your listings at least three times a day or more and share others a lot and in turn you’ll receive many share backs. That’s what has worked for me.

rosebisou5 @reginasa The limit you can Follow is 10k per 24hrs. There’s PM watchdog software in place that will temp suspend your ability to Follow (“Follow Jail”). It prevents bot programs from Following mass numbers of people at once & it prevents overloading the PM Servers. There’s also a cap per hour within that 24hr zone as you start approaching 10k.

rosebisou5 @reginasa I’ve been in Follow Jail 5 times. 😂 The last 3 of those were in the same day. Lol I followed 9,900+ in about 8 hours including 1 hour lock downs. So more like 6hrs. But Idk the exact # per hour. I wouldn’t advise it. The 3rd strike of the day that last time left me in lock up a full 12hrs. 😂

Peel and stick your box together. I still use some tape to reinforce. But it’s a lot easier than putting a box together!

reginasa @mlb1006 hmm strange. no it doesn’t happen to me. What happens sometimes is that I have to wait for the pop-up “shared successfully” disappear until I can share the next listing, but besides that I just keep clicking the share button and “follow to your followers” over and over again. It never brought me to the beginning. 2 things come to mind why ... maybe we are using different browsers (I’m using safari) or we maybe we have different iPhones- but I guess that wouldn’t affect it...

mlb1006 @skmcphee If you want to start a Tag List, you should make a Tag List Listing so they can join. You need their permission to do mass tags. Once you start getting names, you want to keep an ongoing list in your Notes so you can copy and paste when needed. Don’t make List too long because there’s a limit in how many characters are allowed in comments. I have 7 Lists and I use it for various tags, such as Follow Games, Party Announcements, Sales etc.

Wow, takes so much time to do but my inventory is low! 😂Anyway, as long as you keep up with some games, you will gain more followers! I wouldn’t stress over sharing so much when you follow. What I do is mostly sharing from my news feed! When someone shares a few of my items then I will share a bunch from them and I keep doing that throughout the day. 600 followers today is great Marisa.

I can add you to my List if you wish. Also, in the Games you want to share at least 5-10 items of the chosen pick and you follow their followers. Make sure to start it with a high price so you can do many price drop notifications. Also don’t put the word Follow Game in the title. Skimmed through to see if my question had been asked before but so many posts just figured I’d ask anyway so please forgive any redundancy ! 🙈🙈 at what point (percentage of other logic) do you just decide to take an offer versus counter? Obviously if it’s super close.. that’s less of a consideration but I find that without some sort of “best and final” feature you could very easily (and do!) lose a sale

mlb1006 @lindachris Also attend some parties and share some Host Picks and Congratulate them. Most will share back as a thank you. I also stopped playing some games. It’s too time consuming. I will randomly pick one or two every so often. You can check my listing of My favorite games and pick some easy ones to play. Also, I personally don’t do Share Groups but there are some good ones to join. Hope this helps!

I have a few regular people on my list like you that I share their closet and they share mine back. I thought that was a share game? Lol. mlb1006 @lindachris There’s Follow Games and Special Follow Games. The difference is regular Follow Games you follow everyone that has Liked the game. I doesn’t really increase your followers fast unless you play lots of them. The Special Follow Games you follow the followers of the featured Pick of the day. These help increase your followers faster than regular FG. Share Games are a way to get share backs from players. Share Groups are slightly different...

The share game is the one we do with emiller (elizabeth) every evening sharing each others closets. mlb1006 @lindachris That’s correct! Some Host don’t advertise hosting a Party. But by sharing their items you grab their attention. In Parties, I sometimes scroll and share the Host Picks from PFFs I know and congratulate them.

mlb1006 @dalinn1 In order to share to the showroom, your item must have the exact key words in the title and description from that Category. For example, if the Category is distressed denim then your title must say “distressed denim” and your description must include the words “distressed denim” too. Once you share that listing, it will show up in the top feed of that Showroom Category. Share throughout the day to stay on top.

This is a simple yet complicated way to sell - complicated in that there's a definite learning curve! I just read; "Insider tip: The Posh Party main showroom becomes dynamic after the party ends so your listing will go to the top of the showroom when it is shared even after the party is over!" Could you explain this to me? Thank you!

mlb1006 @shespursesplus Wow I didnt know that! I do share my items to the Party but I never check on that main Party Showroom because I’m busy looking at the Host Pick Showroom instead.

mlb1006 @shespursesplus I do know that your item can only be shared to the Party one time only. So if you share again to the party, it will be shared to your followers only. So it’s recommended to wait until Party is almost over before you do share your item so that they can appear on the top.

ednal1954 @mlb1006 If anyone is still having issues re boxes the post office won’t except. They are supposed to accept flat rate & priority. You can get a letter from posh just email them l did and haven’t had issues since! Hope this helps 📦💕

pretty_ascanbee I know times are hard sometimes but I received a handbag in a box not wrapped at all, no card, a simple piece of paper would have been enough. The point is treat others with a little bit of extra care if you want your customer satisfied. I felt disappointed. I wouldn’t want my customers to feel that way. ❤️
