Hi ladies, here are some basic tips on spotting authentic Louis Vuitton v FAKES!! I hope this helps. I am outraged by the fakes being sold on PM and the seller swears they are authentic. Type in scammers and you'll see whom I'm referring to. Stay safe and always buy authentic. The fakes and inspired help support terrorism and black market crime. These people need to be stopped, it's a crime people, especially when sent through the mail.

tsaia1977 im going crazy. I found a LV at a estate sale today. Small bag. all of the above ring true to authentic. I took to high end consignment and woman said her "gut" would say fake but she really couldn't tell. Anyone reading this know an authenticator?

landerites @tsaia1977 , Hi Tara. You should contact LV and ask how the process works. I've heard of women doing this; however, I'm not sure if you have to personally take it in or send pictures. I don't know what the cost of this is, when you find out, will you post it here so we can use it as a reference? I will share this so it can get some attention.

tsaia1977 No and i dont know what type it is. Smaller than the speedy, im pretty clueless on LV thats why i have never gotten into purchasing them at auction/estate sales. I wouldnt know a find from a flake. I just scooped this up cause it was some old ladys and it was cheap. I also got a "made in Korea" fendi but that one was more $ who knows lol

When I first joined posh I kept my mouth shut; however, now I have no problem calling people on their bull. I'm sure I've made some people pretty angry but I don't care. It's wrong and completely unethical. I actually borrowed this from another awesome posher who was kind and said for me to post this in my listings as well. 💕 Are you aware of any users whom are selling replicas claiming they are authentic? I have no problem contacting a friend @justice4all and having her post their names to her page. You should check out her page, you'll be shocked as to what you read and see. I'm glad we connected. nami001 @landerites Hi Trilyn! I just started on Posh a little over a week ago and I've seen lots of replicas but I didn't think to note the closet names. I don't follow them back because I don't want to be associated with that. I've seen closets that state it's a replica on the listing and always wonder how it gets past filters, if there are any. I'm a huge LV fan and have a few so I also don't like seeing people getting duped into believing it's the real thing when it's not. I'm also a huge MK fan and I didn't know replicas were out there but when I read the comments, buyers ask if it's authentic and the seller will say "inspired". She's Cuban and her name is Michelle Molina. She's an immigration an naturalization attorney in Miami. You two share a striking resemblance. I agree regarding the fake bags and people knowingly selling them as authentic. It breaks my heart people trust these people and dump hundreds of dollars on a misconception, or basically a lie. I am not too fond of bullies and liars and I no longer calling them out on their bull here on Posh. I don't like confrontation but again, I can't stand people whom take advantage of others. I was political science and pre law in college and followed that horrible situation closely. You are far from family for sure but I hope your heart doesn't ache too much. metalpetals Hi! I just saw this... great post!! Carol Diva is the authenticator I use, she is GREAT!!! You have to pay her on that site that they won't let me name...( PA pl) (carol@caroldiva.com I believe). She charges only $7.00 and she is very fast- just a few days. After paying her thru PA pl, you email her pictures of either the listing, or the bag/slg if you have already received.... She will let you know for certain if the piece is authentic or a replica, and will also help you get your money back if you need help. She is a wonderful person who provides an amazing service!!! I just wanted to let you know that she's out there, and she's awesome.

boyanacampbell @landerites I’m incensed as well! I can’t believe PM allows this. How can they authenticate so many obvious fakes. Also I’m looking for Louis Vuitton Chantilly PM and there’s literally dozens of them on PM. Several Poshers use each other’s pictures. I made some comments on someone’s site and she yelled at me removed my comments and blocked me. PM won’t help!! Buyer beware.

mrskrpeebles Hi, purchased a handbag last night fr @hold_erwendy & received my email following the sale. Now they have no listings. Searched scammer didn't see seller. Contact with seller to cancel isn't available. I've messaged Poshmark concerning this. Is it correct I will have to wait 7 days then if they don't ship anything I can request a refund? If they ship something not authentic as advertised I don't accept the release of funds & do a proper request to return and refund. I appreciate your help.

mrskrpeebles @bookwitch1970 my advice is for if they do send you the item. if they don't ship I'm the time frame you can just request the release of your funds. But it will go through the time frames for the process. Don't accidentally hit the button to accept.

nicollewoodard @landerites I agree I just started purchasing trusting that the live parties I purchase from are real. I’ve been sold some fakes and Poshmark is authenticating some of my bags right now. Now that I have had two weeks to really learn more I’m going to be surprised if it’s real by their standards. I’m nervous. It’s really frustrating to have to figure out if our bags are real😂🤪awful to spend hundreds and thousands and it not be real…so messed up!fingers crossed!
