When I first started Poshing I saw many people ask "interested?" every time someone liked something. I thought that's what you were suppose to do. I don't do it anymore because it is annoying! I feel pressured to answer the seller and guilty if I don't purchase my like! It makes me not even want to like items because then I will be asked if I'm interested. So now I say nothing or thank you for your like which requires no response.

mommyabeeyo A simple "thank you for your like" shows that you are an active seller without pressuring the potential customer for a response. That is my new line LOL! I'm learning as I go along. 😊

mommyabeeyo @charms342 I did it too! But now I find it so annoying. There are so many abandoned closets tho so I use to ask just to acknowledge them but now I just say thanks or nothing.

cindylyn Yeah I'm guilty of doing but mostly when they like 2 or more items. Otherwise I just save thnx for liking. Shoot Sunday I finally was able to purchase 2 tops I liked when I first got on PM in January! 😄 I hate tho when ppl say they'll bundle and u save and it's not the case! I just got ticked off at this seller, she has to tops for $18 each. I could only so call Save on the bundle if I used PP. well when I looked at others who used that with the seller it took almost to weeks to get their stuff and the seller always had the same excuse. OK, first when u bundle generally ppl expect to save more then a $1!!!! Yes she said on PM she would bundle the 2 tops that are both $18 for $35! 😼 GMAB!!!!

I'm so scared lately cuz I've seen so many scammers as far as trading goes HOWEVER I must say I've had some purchases that were horrible AND trades that were so totally awesome! I've learned to do my snooping around the closet now to get a feel for the seller's honesty and consistency. It ticks me off when I read comments about sizing, especially shoes. The seller will say yea it could a 7 1/2 and then tell someone else sure it could fit a 6 1/2 also... What the?? Not really!! It makes me think they just want to sell even if it won't fit the customer!

cindylyn Yeah, the scammer alerts are becoming more frequently seen as I get more followers: they have them posted in their closets warning ppl. Trading thus far has been great for me....but i sure watch that and am very selective. My purchases have been great so far as well, cant complain there. I used to take all the stuff i dont wear anymore and donate it to Good Will or the Rescue Mission here! Now I can sell the stuff - Some money is better than no money! If I get $8 off a top thats 3yrs old HEY better then $0!!! And as for sizing like you said: Come on, be honest!!!! I had booties that wear 8's but they didnt fit. I was asked were they too small - i said my toe was right at the end of the shoe so yes a 7.5 could probably were fine, a girl who wears 7.5 and 8 could wear but 8 - 8.5 prob wouldnt fit right. NOW its their decision if they want to risk buying them. Its all a RISK buying offline! you can see it in person, can try stuff on, can really get true look and feel of stuff! oh, i sold a pair of shoes to a girl - i felt so bad when she said she couldnt wear them due to a banding that hurt her toe(s). I felt bad and asked her to pick an item from my closet of the same price as the shoes were and I would give it to her to make it up to her. Guess what, the shirt she picked, even tho it was a L, wasnt big enough and she gave it to her roommate! UGH! I tried at least to make it all up to her! Im not here to rip ppl, just find stuff i can buy anywhere romately close to me and make a little money to help pay for the items!

junk4dwi I usually just an observer and don't jump in to give my 2 cents but I feel the need to on this post please don't hate me haha I am guilty of responding to likes :) especially if they like more than 1 item I'd mention bundling and I have found several buyers (mostly newbies) aren't aware of bundling. So I've made some sales because I responded to likes :) And as a potential buyer, If I liked something and the seller asked if I'm interested or they mentioned make me an offer then I'd say yeah what's your lowest price :) if seller doesn't respond to my like then most likely I don't go back to my likes and do anything. I guess I'm the weird one who wants a pro active seller haha ok that's my 2 cents.

I just know there's been times ive been very interested in a few items, and because I liked an item previously in that closet, I get ignored so idk if the seller just like abandoned shop or what.. But it makes me feel like a dummy when I have to respond with "yes I'm interested but I'm broke" lol. :/ -sigh- I'll keep this in mind and hopefully I don't annoy any of my future buyers/traders ;) 😉

I'm guilty of calling out likes, so ill definitely be more aware of that ... But then again everyone is different.. You definitely gave me something to think about (:
