@gabbygirl46 Julianne thank you so much for your support!❤️ I'm writing you from my hospital bed. I've been here since last week since I wrote this listing. The surgery was actually on my right big toe to remove the tip of my toe and some of the sides of the nail bed to allow my toenail to grow. I had lost my to big toenails during my last round of chemo last fall and my toenails weren't growing back properly. I had the same surgery on my left toe a few months back and it was a cakewalk. No problems whatsoever! And it was successful-my toenail has grown and my foot looks beautiful, I'm just a good half size smaller now!😉 But from the day of the surgery on this right toe, it's been nothing but complications. 😿Now it's infected down to the bone and they're trying to save my toe. They've installed a PICC line and are giving me a "ninja warrior" cocktail of antibiotics through that. Once some cultures and MRIs come back they'll know exactly what bacteria is attacking me and how much bone has been destroyed so the Infectious Diseases Specialist will be able to come up with a more specialized plan of attack to help me. He also said not to be a hero because bone infections are "extremely painful" in his words and they put me on a PCA pain pump so my pain is being controlled a LOT better. I just can't believe all the craziness I've had to deal with over a toe! I mean this is the second time I've been back in the hospital with complications since the surgery. Holly @vacat called it very early on that it was an infection but nobody identified the infection until the end of last week, only to find out it had been infected this whole time all along and that's why it got down into the bone. Grateful to my amazing and loving husbie who brought me a huge bouquet of red roses and stargazer lilies with babies breath that he arranged in the vase himself stem by stem. Every nurse, doctor, visitor, etcetera has complimented that bouquet as being so beautiful and smelling so pretty, especially because of the stargazers.Anyway, you asked a very simple question and got the entire full-blown answer. Hopefully that didn't bother you or turn you off from being my friend. I just feel like I have to explain the entire reason why I was just having toe surgery, otherwise it seems really stupid and superficial. Repair after chemo explains things a lot better and makes more sense as to why this would all be happening. Thank you again for being so a kind and compassionate. @alanetx What a story, babe. And I'm thankful that you DID tell me the ENTIRE story. Even though it was absolutely NONE of my business. I truly thank you for that. And having a caring, loving, (and, it sounds like, talented!) hubby makes ALL the difference in the world, girly. I COMPLETELY understand HATING being in a hospital. I've been in too dang many and don't care to go back. But I LNOW, just by the sound or inflection of your voice, you are a STRONG woman! How in the HELL, excuse my language! Lol! Did you get an infection from or on/on your toe? Btw, you may ask me anything as well since I feel like I am being SO dang intrusive! Lol! 😘❌⭕️💋❤️

I'm so sorry to hear this!!! I have lived through having MRSA and got it out of my blood stream. Fortunately for me they found mine early & my Dr just happened to take the right steps. That was back in 2006 But I want to let you know that I can understand how painful infection is!!! Ripping flesh painful. My prayers are with you dear!!! I see you know Holly!!! Only cause of @vacat @mizfabulousity did I come over here to say hey!! 😘😘😘 My sweet Holly & soon I get to actually meet Anna in person!!!! I used to dance ballet so I know how painful toenails are anyway without things even being wrong with them. So nice to meet you though! I've been too ill myself lately for the past month but finally tonight was able to roam about & get on Posh. I guess to meet you!!! Lol 😘😘😘 That's so scary! I have been only PT due to having health problems too :( I'm sure once they test which drug will fight that particular bacteria then they can control it. So horrible these things we have to deal with! We get thru one catastrophe and wind up in the next. Good thing we have Posh!!! Our 24hour support group with free therapy, great friends & endless shopping😘😘😘

@missrochelles oh my goodness! I'm so sorry to hear you had MRSA! I've had it twice (I have multiple autoimmune diseases so I'm ultra susceptible to just about everything) and it's absolutely horrifying! I also danced ballet for 30 years too so what a small world! You and I have a lot in common😍 I'm so glad you found me and we can get to be PFFs! Your message made me feel so warm and fuzzy and loved and cared for. Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out to me and share your experience and let me know you care. Your prayers are very much appreciated! I'll take all the prayers I can get, I'm a big fan of prayers! And please thank Lizzy Kitty for me too!!! As for the snores, I miss Kitty snores SOOO much! Katy Cat is 18 and she snores in the most absolute cutest way! It sounds like a little high pitched "hmm" sound, not a snore at all💛 and when she gets in between her Daddy and I in the evening for what husbie calls "purr-thirty" and really starts to purr she starts sounding like a dove cooing. She's the cutest! I've had her longer than I've had my oldest child! Anyway, I just wanted to thank you again for your sweetest message! Even though I've been cheating and going on Posh even though the docs told me no activity other than resting, I can't help it but I am SOOO far behind I'll never be able to catch up! I think I've already made some people mad! At least there was a bright spot last night when our sweet friend @mizfabulousity chose one of my listings as Host Pick and I also made a sale even though I haven been sharing to parties! Wow we do have a lot in common. They tell me my problem is actually an overly active immune system so I end up allergic to many things and then I wind up with meds not always working like they should because my body tries to fight off everything! Even with my pain killers, etc now, I've always had to use so much more cause they said I was used to hurting so badly all the time I wore my sensors out. So my body doesn't know how shut itself down. Did you dance in Houston?? I know a few that had gone to that company for the summer workshops. My teacher (this is many years ago now) in Sacramento was good friends with every major teacher in the US plus Russia so we had some amazing teachers in the summer!! Up until my last car accident I was still teaching. I was offered to be a master teacher here in AZ and be a guest choreographer but so far my health won't allow it. I have a body & spine of an 80 year old trapped in my body!! 😝😝😝 I was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease in my neck. That due to multiple car accidents & just getting hurt from horse riding mishaps etc have left by body in constant pain. I always had a long neck which for Ballet was great but turns out it was cause I was born with 2 of my discs stuck together. So when I get injuries it's much worse cause of that. So after my last rear ending I was left with 3 bulging discs and the bone spurs, etc over the years has made my spine go away. One other posher actually had a pic of her X-rays up. I thought it was a cool idea actually. I'd love looking at my friends X-rays!!! So my neck is not able to withstand surgery & there isn't anything out there that could make it better. So I've been experimenting with like Facet injections, trigger points, anything without steroids to try to help. I decided to try a meet & greet to try to cheer myself up & get me to be able to work on something I could physically at the time. One thing with Posh is that when you slow down amazingly your shop does too. So it's good & bad. Unfortunately I've had to do only PT twice since starting. It can be upsetting cause it seems like others are getting to host now & I wish I had been able to do that by now. But I'm also kinda glad it hasn't happened yet cause my closet is actually in storage in Cali & I have no idea when I will be able to afford to get it. So I don't have that many interesting things in my closet to sell :( What made me laugh at ur Bee sign do hard too is cause I have been trying so hard to find people to come to this meet & greet..... Yet I found that personality wise it always seems like depending on who's going depends on who comes. Most here sadly do not follow the rules, so now after starting with 40 confirmed its gone down to only truthfully 20 coming. A couple I've even had to block due to constantly harassing me, ruining my listings with horrible talk.... You name it! I have recently found my large group of haters!!! What they don't realize is that the reason why I plead with ones is because I started Posh before it exploded with people so there used to be more of a proving yourself, then working your way up. I think some of that has been lost now. Posh has hurt my feelings a lot lately :( This new sugg user idea basically took all seniority away but for those of us who have been here a year building it up lost it. But so I was stupid & never read the rules & was turned in almost daily until I finally "got" that my business would be promoted & backed once I followed the "leaders." But then they had that interview on Good Morning America & Posh quadrupled in size overnight. So I also went from easily pulling in $300-500 a month to zero for months. And seeing drug paraphernalia, sex toys, baby diapers, breast pumps.... You name it!!!! Enter Holly. @vacat .. Who helped me find my circle of friends & support that has kept me going since. I've had some mentoring help now too. I'm hoping that Posh will recover from this & we can go back to having a more strict system. And make people actually earn there keep!!! Lol!!! After seeing so many sugg users openly offering PP or secretly putting it everywhere it makes me want to puke. Anyway...... Bout half page up is where my point was that I broke the rules at first & offered PP cause I saw others doing it & stopped once I knew but it made me get off to a rougher start & instead of getting mentored them promoted I got left in the dust. So these girls come after me crazily accusing me of using PP (last year) then see my closet etiquette & it goes downhill. But it's been worth it cause of who I've met along the way!!! Posh will be here once your well 😘😘😘 It will pick back up once you're able. You can never please everybody. Us dancers want to please everyone & have a tendency to work our butts off doing it but there will always be those who are just mean no matter what. I can see you've been running your closet clean from the start & you have great backers & mentors. Our host last night Anna has watched me on here since I started!!! So once your well we will all get your closet busy when your ready. Until then kick back & get well. I think it's maybe just a dancer immune systems that's driven too!!!! Lol

I understand what you mean about all the publicity and the explosion of bad users. You know - we've complained to each other enough about the crap people sell on here and they make money while we make very little now. Have some people actually been rude to you? Who are they? I want names without the @. They need to be blocked by everyone!

@vacat - oh no you've been a great friend on here!!! It's the new little poshers that have been beating on me pretty badly. But ill live!! Lol. Plus today I'm starting to feel more back to my old self finally. Since my health probs started sometimes my entire body will just shut down & I can't handle the pain but then finally after a couple weeks here & there out of the year it finally subsides enough for me to think again!! 😘😘😘😘 No you were my first real friend on here before I met Amie. Now I know Amie on a person level now too. So we've actually in real life thanks to Posh become Bffs!!! Lol! I'm prob just sounding depressed cause she can't make it to my meet & greet so I've been really depressed. But it's not her fault she lives so many states away from me! So I need to snap myself out of it cause I have lots of decorations to make still! But planning this party unfortunately had me accidentally come in contact with some really crazy hateful people. Which is why Amie was going to come support me but my Mom will be coming now so ill be fine. Plus only the nice ones are coming. So unfortunately my rsvps are down but those people would have spoiled everything!!!! Better to have only 10 there just so long as we are all good happy people out to help & support!!! 😘😘😘 It's just been a VERY LONG couple months of torture I didn't plan on running into. My Fibro gets out of control when people mentally beat me up. It kills & drains me in real life too 😖😖 So no Holly you're a dream. But to all those mean Poshers who have made me bed ridden for over a month....... Be gone with you!!!!!!

When I woke up this morning and checked my phone and saw that Posh had like 100 in the news I at first thought I must've somehow gotten a host pick. Then I looked and saw that you, someone I didn't know, had shared practically my entire closet!!! I couldn't believe it! Then I finally saw the entry where you wrote to me and I was so moved that it brought me to tears! I can never repay you-I can in no way repay all those shares-I'm SOOO far behind in shares it's UNBELIEVABLE! I'm sure I'm going to lose followers because of this, but my health has to come first... I just want to say again that I'm overwhelmingly thankful for your kindness, caring, and the time you're taking to help me, a former stranger! To answer your question: the bone infection was a complication that began as a surface infection from the surgery I talked about in my earlier post. It happens a lot of the time. So, for this 'infection', do they/have they tried all sorts of antibiotics? Is it sort of a Staff Infection? They did say that you will be well, correct? Eventually? And yes, lol! I know about ALL of the crud they tell you before surgeries. I've had SO many. But I've been blessed. No infections. Yet anyway. Finger's crossed?! 😨😷

I'm blown away by all the shares I saw you did from my closet last night. 😋 I'm writing you on this listing to familiarize you with my situation so you know that I'm in the hospital and have been for quite a while due to severe osteomyelitis. I'm SOOO far behind in shares and follows that I'll NEVER be caught up😿 my kitty made this listing to help let people know so they wouldn't be upset with me for not sharing back right away but I'm certain I'll still lose followers due to the fact that the drs have told me that all I'm allowed to do is rest (translation=no Poshing😿 although the longer I've been here the more often I've been cheating and checking my Posh) and though I haven't been sharing my closet, (or been able to return shares or follows bc there've been just too many, thank God for such wonderful problems!) I have been answering msgs from my Posh girlfriends letting them know how I'm progressing, etc. anyway, I hope you'll accept my HUGE virtual hugs and kisses XOXO for all the shares and let me know how I can repay you for your awesomeness last night in sharing so many items from my closet! @alanetx oh Anna!! 6 yrs ago I had a very similar incident where I had some surgery on my hip....blah blah blah...got infected. Pic line, 3 months in hospital, eventually after 4 surgeries ended up w/ a new hip. I only tell you this NOT to sound doom and gloom but just the opposite !! I'm now doing Zumba, wearing high heels a d dancing the night away! NEVER in a million years did I thnk I would leave that stinking hospital. Let alone with my leg!!! They will find that nasty infection, treat it, and you too will be shaking your booty!! Hang in there girl!! It's the food that will get you!! Want some pinwheels ??🍪🍪

@fccandles aww Kim! Are you for real? You're too sweet! I can't believe you went through such a horrifying ordeal! 3 months in the hospital?!?! You must have had gold covered insurance! They're trying to think about transferring me to a Long Term Care Facility (or something like that?) after another few weeks where my team of docs would still round on me every day and I'd still get my antibiotics through my PICC line and still be on my PCA pain pump because as you're well aware osteomyelitis HURTS!!!😩😩😩 anyway, it's very encouraging to hear that you're out there Zumba'ing and wearing heels and shaking your boo-Tay all around town!💃as for Pinwheels, I'm sad to say I don't know what they are (please don't beat me up!) but you're cute for suggesting they'd make me feel better! I'm sure if they're some sorta sweet they'd cheer me up. I'm gonna need to buy new pants when I come outta here with the 24/7 ice cream! No joke! Plus they have daily cobbler. There's no joking about me and cobbler, now! Anyway, I can't thank you enough for your sweet message. You really lifted my spirits when being in here is starting to dampen my ever present optimism. @alanetx ok so pinwheels are the most delicious cookie ever!! And yes 3 months w/ osteomyelitis! Lost my hip to it...but not my life( they spent 10 days trying to get my fever down) or my leg. That's the way to look at things! It sure enough does hurt! Every time they said they had to do another surgery ...first I would cry, then I say...ok bitches..lets do this!!! Then more re hab, then wham! It was back. It was the antibiotics that kicked my butt! Soooo sick. But you know, 2 people I roomed with died while I was there. Not such a bad outcome. My husband was active duty, so no cost AND I was in the same hospital as war veterans ...just kids, who had horrific injuries. I would not complain after I witnessed their injuries. It's a tough road, but in the end, it helps you become stronger, and truly appreciate your gifts in life. I'm so very great full for everything now. I do have to say though, you'll find that you're not very sympathetic when someone has an ache or pain!!! Lol! Just ask my hubby!

@gettumgirl Charm THANK YOU SO MUCH for that amazing and heartfelt prayer! Yes, we do know who the real doctor is-the Lord of All Creation! My journey really started when I was a 16 yr old with horrific endometriosis and intractable migraines and gradually progressed into several autoimmunes into my 20's then by my 30's trying to get pregnant and seeing a Reproductive Endocrinologist, that's where they found the CA125 (ovarian cancer marker) and the masses on my ovaries (after pouring 150k out of our pockets on MULTIPLE IVFs!😢) but I live in Houston and my husbie is a Certified Financial Planner, Private Wealth Manager with just the right clients (plus we follow Jesus so we're mightily blessed) so I was able to be seen at MDAnderson just 2 days after we found out (normally a 3-6 month waiting time!) by the HEAD OF GYNECOLOGICAL ONCOLOGY WHOSE SPECIALTY IS OVARIAN CANCER!!! we had an army of prayer warriors on the job for me during that time and my team there was incredible! Anyway, long story short, all the glory to God because after several scans showing tumors and treatments, one day the scan showed NOTHING! We had prayed it away! What I'm going through now is a result of trying to fix damage done by the chemo. Anyway, sorry for the long message, I just wanted to explain my story to you and thank you for your amazing support of sharing my closet. Caren, I was kind of a Debbie Downer in my 1st message to you and want to apologize. The TREMENDOUS outpouring I've received from the caring ladies Charm and you called upon to help me has 100% turned my frown upside down. @alanetx No problem, I will continue to help out as much as I can. 💐💐 I am by far no doctor but I am a true believer in all things natural. I know that antibiotics kill all the good bacteria and the bad bacteria. We need the good bacteria in our bodies to fight away viruses. Sounds crazy but garlic is a natural antibiotic and if eaten raw it can really help your body as well as trying probiotics to bring back the good bacteria in your body to help your progress in getting better. Also watching your diet and try eating less sugars and adding more spices and fruits to your diet. To help your body fight back the virus. Try searching natural antibiotics since or bodies become resistance to certain ones after too much. Just some extra ideas. 😘💕💕💋

@lovebug08 hey sweet lady! Guess what! My docs are thinking just like you! They have my on TONS of probiotics👍 it's amazing how much natural medicine has integrated into traditional medicine. Also, I LOVE fruit and pretty much exist on it when I'm at home (not in here) but their fruit is cupped fruit here. I've been craving apples like nobody's beeswax so my friend who's been visiting has been bringing me apples almost every time she comes😋 one way or another I will beat this osteomyelitis!!!

@vacat well, Holly, you know me well enough by now to know that I originally put it up to let ppl know I was out of commission and was unable to share for share and follow back as usual so I (hopefully) wouldn't upset people or get a bad reputation. BUT THEN... just like the surgery announcement listing, it morphed from me thinking I'd let people know I wouldn't be as immediately accessible as usual to an overwhelming outpouring (not rivaling this of course but still!) I feel more loved and supported by all you women than the so called "friends" that slowly went by the wayside around the time in my very early 30s when I got VERY sick and my dear sweet husbie was in over his head and needed lotsa help. All the sudden since I couldn't come to their Cabi parties or host wine nights, etc they just seemed to fall by the wayside when I needed them most. This is not an uncommon phenomenon either. I've talked to several women in various dr waiting rooms who have similar stories to tell. However, I feel like somehow if we all lived nearer, my room would be filled with flowers and balloons and I'd have so many sweet visitors I wouldn't know what to do with myself😍 I'm so grateful for the genuine kindness, caring, and support I receive from my PFFs that I wouldn't know what to do without y'all at this point already! Oh Anna! What a long drawn out ordeal you have been through. It must be so frustrating for something as small as a toe, that we take for granted every day, could be causing such tremendous trouble for you.
I have worked as a nurse since the early 90s. Many years ago I spent three months in a bone marrow transplant unit taking care of my mother when she underwent chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant. I slept in her room with her for most of the time and got a much different perspective from the long-term patient's point of view! The IV pumps clicking and the lights blinking and constant interruptions were almost enough to push even a healthy person over the edge. I have no idea how seriously ill patients are expected to rest and recover in such a stimulating environment. I hope you're able to put some ear plugs in or some noise canceling headphones on and get the rest that your body needs,
I am certain that you are a breath of fresh air for the nurses who are caring for you. It is such a joy to take care of kind and gentle people. I'm sure they all love you and are pulling for your speedy recovery! I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Heal fast! - Jen

To my amazing PFFs: I'm in a state of shock right now. My case manager told me earlier this evening that my insurance would be discharging me!!! This is 100% AGAINST all 5 of my specialists on my team of doctors. Does the insurance care? Nope! They literally said that since I'm not on a ventilator, there's no longer a huge threat of me dying at any second, and I have a home, they're sending me to it. My docs here had a long conference call with the insurance doc and appealed the decision telling the insurance company that it would be life threatening to release me to send me home but BlueCrossBlueShield didn't care. I'm really scared to be being sent home AMA too early. Bone infections aren't something to play around with and mine was described as severe. Please pray for me and my family as I enter into this scary and uncertain time. I'll need y'all gals more than ever! For those of you who've been sharing my closet, thank you so much! It means so much to me! I really need sales right now! Every little $20 helps! I hope you'll be able to continue to help me share until I get well. I'm so unbelievably grateful for all of your support-you've each shown it in different ways but all gone above and beyond what the average person would do. I could never repay your INCREDIBLE KINDNESS! Count on me to be there for you if you ever need me because even though I'm down right now, I'm a person with a plus sized heart! I love to lift others up and I've been a cheerleader my entire life. If there's ever a day when any of you need me, I'll come running to return your kindnesses to me.

Anna, that's awful!! Once when the insurance company wanted me discharged from the hospital, my dr made up reasons for me to stay! Things sure have changed in the insurance and hospital business. It's all about the money!!! Here's something my brother used to do - discharge patients, wait a few hours (with the patients sitting in ER for a few hours), then re-admit as complications from whatever they had when they were in hospital. He was in respiratory, but its worth a try. Either way, you are still in our family's prayers every night.🙏🙏🙏😘

If I could I would buy your whole closet, but unfortunately my husband lost his job and our house is going into foreclosure but I don't want to go into my little issues right now. I thought bluecrossblueshield was suppose to be good. Is it for sure or is there a chance the docs might change their mind? I really don't believe in suing but you might have to plant that thought in their head. Is there anyway you could get a lawyer? Some lawyers love these cases! My heart truly goes out to you! Plus I thought hospitals had to treat you even if you don't have insurance! I know they do here in NM! I am gonna call our prayer line tomorrow which I go to the largest church here and is full of awesome prayer warriors! Please keep me in the loop!

@alanetx Anna...are they. Going to keep your pic line in? I went home and had my pic line still on. Then they shipped the antibiotics to my house. My hubby and I would do the daily stuff and a nurse came 1 x a week. I know this isn't the best scenario, but it actually was better for my spirits to be at home. I ended up being re admitted twice however. If you go home...feel sick, go back through the ER and have them re admit you.

@fccandles Kim, oh HECK YES they're keeping that PICC line in! Otherwise they'd NEVER be able to send me home because I'm on SOOO many IV antibiotic meds still. Home health will come over every morning at 10 am for my 1st infusion then I have to do 4 more infusions by myself the rest of everyday. (!!!but ya, I'm ready to go home, right?) my husbie travels for work and when he's in town he's CRAZY BUSY and really unable to do all that much to help (which makes him feel so guilty, but it is what it is) .
Anyway, my case manager has really stressed that if ANY TINY LITTLE THING gels different or feels wrong or bad then I'm to get immediately back to the hospital. I'm just scared about going home too soon and not healing completely, etc. My pastor is trying to arrange the Pastoral Care Ministry to bring meals and help with laundry, etc. I've really had to swallow my pride and ask for help, which is VERY HARD FOR ME! But Pastor Tom Said something that changed my perspective yesterday when he told me there's a huge difference between selfishness and self-care. It would do me well to remember that! They're starting to take me off all the different lines, etc starting with my pain pump (which scares me because the osteomyelitis is SOOO painful, I've been on the pump for almost 2 weeks and I'm scared I'm going to go through withdrawals!) you're such a prayer warrior, please continue battling for me. Phil 4:6-7 comes to mind but I'm just having such trouble letting it all go after I've told Him everything as Paul instructs us to do. My worries and stress are too great and I feel sad about that because I've been SOOO calm, confident, positive and upbeat throughout this entire ordeal. Gotta go, doc's coming in. @brownbethany75 hey there! It is too much to process, that's for sure. If it were up to the doctors, I'd be staying right here in the hospiysl for at least another 2 weeks. It's the evil "insurance" that made the decision that literally since I'm not on a ventilator, I'm not in immediate danger of death anymore, and i have a home-that's exactly where they're sending me. Home. They're sending me home against doctors advice because they're greedy and don't care abt the patient's well being. I'm feeling really yucky because they've discontinued my pain pump after 2 weeks and my body's having a rough time adjusting without it. Talk more later... Love, ALT

@alanetx on my gosh, I can't believe the insurance company. All they care about is money and its sad they would do that to anyone during such a difficult situation. Will continue to share and pray for you and that someone at that insurance company has a heart. Your truly inspiring, you seem like such a strong person with everything that you are dealing with. It makes me realize that all these little things going on are nothing compared to what other people are dealing with. Sometimes I think I am a hypochondriac and complain about everything and start worrying about things I have no control over. It seems so silly now when there is someone in so much pain and is just asking for help. I'm sorry to hear that you are getting treated like this. I CANNOT BELIEVE THE POST I AM ABOUT TO WRITE BUT: my 18 yo son was in a horrible car accident early this morning at college where his Accord hyroplaned, flipped and rolled several times over the embankment and came to rest in a lake. Praise God his window broke and Jesus carried him out that broken window to the surface! I need serious prayers for Travis Wesley Taylor and our family. He's in the hospital in Waco now and I feel helpless as his mom because I can't be with him since they sent me home from the hospital at 11:00 last night and I have strict bedrest orders. @alanetx I just read your story and I am so sorry. Being afraid is normal and so understandable. I feel horrible when so many of our poshinistas have to go through anything even close to this. Do you need any clothing or anything? I can't pay your bills unfortunately and I spend a lot on my meds... What else do you need doll.? I am sending hugs and kisses to you and please get better. Don't even worry about PM. It's always here and so many of us have been through a lot. It seems to be a common theme amongst so many of us. Partially why we work at home trying to make a little extra money and get discounted clothes for ourselves. I've been thru so much before and since being on here and when my house completely flooded a couple of kind pple sent me some things I didn't have. Half my closet got ruined and hasnt been the same since. So don't worry, pple will understand if they have a heart. Just don't deal with the overpriced gougers, lol!! Please let me know if you need anything even though I don't know you. Ur one of us if Carol says so! How does she know everything.? Lots of love and u can be an Iv for Halloween. I'm going to pray now & write down what I'm praying so that when u r feeling like God isn't hearing you or your not getting better u can read this & feel the strength of Gods hand on you. If you need any support I'm a patient advocate & I've dealt with similar situations with insurance. I had a 3-month legal & went blind before we won. Luckily my treatment returned most of my sight. Insurance sucks. I'm sorry you have to be another one of its victims. Feel better soon. Don't worry about the home IV. The nurse will teach you andll be there for any questions throughout. Sometimes it's actually nicer to be able to do your infusions in the comfort of your home. I hope this is the case for you.

Everyone THANK YOU SO MUCH for everything!!! I love and miss and appreciate you all so much! I arrived home around midnight last Thursday and it has been a crazy whirlwind since then. Let me just say the docs were right, I was not ready to come home! Without the 24/7 care of the hospital staff, and trying to administer 4 hours worth of infusions each day by myself (oh ya, insurance lied, hm health nurse only comes 1x per week to draw blood and change PICC dressing, not help with anything!) I've been completely overwhelmed. All I've been able to do is go from the bathroom back to bed. Husbie set up a mini fridge within reaching distance so my meds and drinks and snacks are all there and I don't have to walk all the way to the kitchen or ask someone. It's great. Our master has turned into a full on hospital room with all the medical supplies! It's crazy! I do enjoy being in my own luxurious bed, with my own ginormous HDTV that I can watch anything anytime on without nurses coming in every hour or so checking vitals, doling out meds, etcetera, but it's been a real challenge and we definitely need prayer. My son Travis who got into the accident is FINE, PRAISE GOD!!! Thank you so much for all the warriors who prayed us through that-it would've sent us over the edge if anything had seriously been wrong. Stuff is replaceable! A very generous woman from church came Monday with an entire roast pork loin, carrots and potatoes, baby field green and tomato salad with creamy cilantro dressing, loaf of sourdough garlic bread, chocolate chip cookies (still warm!) and a box of granola bars and a banana for my younger son, Kyle's, breakfast Tuesday! What a blessing! We are still going to be eating that tonight! We go to a big church but our Pastor of Pastoral Care has created a care website where people can volunteer when and what meals they're going to donate and if Monday is any indication, that
is a HUGE blessing that takes lots of pressure off husbie! Our Director of Women's Ministry is also checking in with me every day. It's good to be a member of a church ladies! It's also great to have amazing PFFs too plentiful to name! I'm so grateful and hopefully I can repay each one of you one day but for no reason, just because everybody's healthy and happy! As per usual, now I'm exhausted and need to rest. I've taken to watching David Tutera on WE during the day and dozing so if anyone else is doing that, well then we're watching together. Start planning my vow renewal ceremony with my sweet husbie for 2018 and we'll convince David Tutera to come to Houston and take it over, and you're all invited, of course! @alanetx thank you for the prayers. I'm sorry to hear of your complications. There is a new lupus shot that caused full remission in studies. I will be posting the link here so you can read it. I am on my second autoimmune disease do far. So far I have avoided organ damage but my cousin who is much younger already has a life threatening version of SLE. I was put on plaquenil early and I guess if helped me or maybe I was a little more lucky who knows. I hope you get rid of your infection soon I know how frustrated you must be. I wonder if the affordable care act will help ppl like us ? Hang in there and I hope this vaccine comes to the market soon so we can get better.

You're so faithful and share my closet for me and I think that's so sweet! I am doing a bit better, feeling a bit stronger. The home health nurse takes blood every Monday and this week the results weren't good so my specialist dr changed my infusion to try to attack to infection another way. The meds make me super nauseous and sleepy so I take a lot of naps. The toe itself is looking great! So, there's a quick update for you, and now I'm being pulled back into dreamland. I'm feeling about 75% I'd say. That's a definite uptrend! My home healthcare nurse comes and draws blood every Monday and this week wasn't good. So the infectious diseases specialist decided to change one of my infusions to hopefully attack the infection a different way. These are really poweuqqqqqqrful meds so that's great, but they upset my tummy and make me sleepy so i sleepa

@manymurrays I'm sorry about my previous message! I think I thought I was awake but really wasn't! Please excuse the typos and mid spellings. They're mistakes but the content of the message remains true. Yes I'm doing a bit better. Had a bit of a backslide with the bloodwork this week but the doc is trying new meds to try and correct for that. Side effects have me so nauseous and tired that my son rarely sees me awake lately and yesterday when he did he told me in a very fatherly voice (for an almost 15 yr old) "you're looking skinnier and skinnier every time I see you. I know the medicine makes you sick but still you look really skinny." This made me laugh because I haven't lost any weight! Probably because I'm not burning any calories being sleeping mommy so therefore my body's holding on to all my lbs and anything I eat will not get burned off. I just thought that was too cute and sweet of him. People from church continue to bring dinner over around once to twice a week, which is a HUGE burden lifted off the entire household. I haven't gotten a chance to wear any of my shoes or boots but I'll let you know how it goes when I do. I'm so scatterbrained these days; do I still owe you feedback sweet friend? ❤️you! I mean, your fingers must be tired from clicking "share now" because I see how frequently my closet is shared between you ladies and I assume you're sharing your own too. My goodness! It somehow works out perfectly because when Lynn doesn't share, Adriana does and vice versa. It's almost like y'all have a system worked out. Anyway, thank you so much again for helping me with my closet. I noticed some likes today, so pray they'll lead to purchases and that'll help with medical bills and Christmas.
As for me, I'm doing OK. I have a home health nurse that comes twice a week to draw blood and maintain my PICC line on Mondays and Thursdays. I get new meds on Wednesdays late around 9:30 PM via messenger. Well, this past week my bloodwork came back that the infection in my bones wasn't responding to the IV antibiotic I was taking first thing every morning so my Infectious Diseases Specialist changed that one to one that's more powerfully targeted to the certain bacteria attacking my bones and blood. I still take the other 4 antibiotics I've been on. My nurse, Mercy, will be here in a few hours to draw the requisite blood for testing this week and change my dressing, clean the blood from the PICC, etc. We need prayers because over the weekend I couldn't get out of bed at all. My fever was through the roof, all I could do was sleep, and the only sustenance I could keep down was jello and sprite. I've been like that off and on throughout the entire time I've been sick with this osteomyelitis, both in the hospital and since I've been released, but this has been a big backslide to feel this poorly for such a long sustained amount of time this far into my treatment.
I know this is not the news y'all want to hear at all and believe me it's not at all the news I want to deliver, but I am ever faithful in my God and know He will bring me through this with a purpose I don't know yet but that will make perfect sense when it's finally revealed to me.

I am so sorry to hear this discouraging news!😔 I was really hoping to hear good news. You're in my prayers every night and will continue to be. I wish there was more I could do to help you out and take some stress off of your shoulders. I will continue to share your closet to the nightly parties to help boost sales.
