My mom's beloved senior Boston Terrier Pickles, passed away Thursday morning.(4-25-13) She was very loved and so spoiled. A beautiful, bubbly girl. So lively and full of energy. She was a cancer survivor and 3 days ago(4-22-13) she had an eye surgery to get one removed. Before surgery she was having seizures once or twice a day. She got medicine. Vet said her body probably couldn't handle the surgery. She passed 2 days after. Rest easy babygirl. We love you. Please keep her in your prayers.💕😓

I'll be devastated when she goes.😔 Pickles, the one that passed, was my mom's dog. It hurt me when she died, but it hurt my mom more. She was our adopted doggy. She is very missed.💔

She got her eye surgery, they she seemed alright. A few days later my dad woke up and found her laying in her cage.. What really upsets me is that no one was there for her. Dad was sleeping, mom was at work and I was at my boyfriend's. So, we don't know if she went peacefully of if she was suffering..😔😨

danimariexox @adriana1979 No, the cancer was taken care of before we got her. And it's been in remission. It hasn't bothered her. But she was getting a cataract and it was getting bad. We could tell it was causing her pain. She would have a seizure every so often.😰 So we took her to the vet and they said it needed to be removed.😔

I was gonna get a baby pit for free from my brothers girlfriend but my parents said no because they poop too much they are too big they are aggressive, and yes they ate aggressive if they feel threatened, they don't just kill you unless you trained them to be violent -.-

Why Dogs Don’t Live As Long As Humans – Explained By a 6 Year Old February 24, 2013 This story Melt My heart so I wanted to share it. enjoy. Being a veterinarian, I had been called to examine a ten-year-old Irish Wolfhound named Belker. The dog’s owners, Ron, his wife Lisa, and their little boy Shane, were all very attached to Belker, and they were hoping for a miracle. I examined Belker and found he was dying of cancer. I told the family we couldn’t do anything for Belker, and offered to perform the euthanasia procedure for the old dog in their home. As we made arrangements, Ron and Lisa told me they thought it would be good for six-year-old Shane to observe the procedure. They felt as though Shane might learn something from the experience. The next day, I felt the familiar catch in my throat as Belker ‘s family surrounded him. Shane seemed so calm, petting the old dog for the last time, that I wondered if he understood what was going on. Within a few minutes, Belker slipped peacefully away. The little boy seemed to accept Belker’s transition without any difficulty or confusion. We sat together for a while after Belker’s Death, wondering aloud about the sad fact that animal lives are shorter than human lives. Shane, who had been listening quietly, piped up, ”I know why.” Startled, we all turned to him. What came out of his mouth next stunned me. I’d never heard a more comforting explanation. It has changed the way I try and live. He said,”People are born so that they can learn how to live a good life — like loving everybody all the time and being nice, right?” The Six-year-old continued, ”Well, dogs already know how to do that, so they don’t have to stay as long.”

danimariexox @kristiinxo She was beautiful.💞 My mom wanted to always have her around, so when she was taken to the vet, my mom got her cremated so she could keep her ashes. The vet put them in a beautiful urn. Before they cremated her, they made imprints of her paws and framed them with a poem of the rainbow bridge. Although she was sad, my mom loved it. Now her baby will always be with her.💞

danimariexox @jamier6527 Thank you.💕 It's not the same without her, but we know she's in a better place. It's been a year and two months since she's passed. My mom still gets upset every now and then, but she's okay. She was the best dog we ever had. She was very well behaved and she rarely barked. What an angel.💖 It's also hard for my boyfriend, because his dog passed away this month on the 4th. It was so sad. 😓😔 His name was Tyson and he was an eleven year old pit bull.

jamier6527 @danimariexox I hear you. My baby, a maltipoo, was killed by something we don't know what it was, back on November 12th 2010, and every year since on that day I sit in my room and cry. I miss him so much. He was such a great little guy. Never barked, stayed right beside me didn't need a leash, was such an angel. I guess he was such an angel God needed him back. But God did provide me with my new baby, a yorkiepoo. He is such a good baby. I love him as much as if I gave birth to him. He is my reason for being here. I don't think I could get thru some days without him. His pic is in my closet too.
