I’m Brooke but my friends call me Nova. I’ve been a member since 2014 but took a break for a couple years and just recently came back. One of my favorite things about Poshmark is the community. I created this post as a meeting place for new and more experienced poshers alike! This is a place where you can make friends, ask for tips towards making sales and gaining followers, or even vent if you need to. Let’s make some new PFF’s, grow together, and help each other! danystormborn @kcamp0802 it’s really nice to meet you! I’m so sorry to hear about those tragedies but so glad you finally were blessed with a child. I’m a single mother to a daughter who is developmentally delayed socially and emotionally, but I love her with all of my heart and because of some health issues of my own I can’t work full-time. That’s why I use Poshmark to help make some extra money!

kcamp0802 @danystormborn I was afraid I was going to be cut off! I have multiple sclerosis and I can’t work. So this is the only place I can make some of my own money. We have Helena in a private Christian Montessori school which I never had an opportunity to attend. I literally want to give her every opportunity I did not have!

lisgar712 Hello Brooke! What a special thing to do in your closet. My name is Lisette. I am a wife and mom of 5. I gave up my career as a speech therapist almost 9 years ago when my twins were born at 27 weeks. I now homeschool my three youngest. My husband works two jobs and I began Poshmark so that hopefully with time I can help out by working from home. Any suggestions for success are welcomed. danystormborn @lisgar712 it’s so nice to meet you! And wow, good for you for being so dedicated to your family! Honestly my biggest tip is just sharing. Not only your own items but share as much as you can from the closets of people with lots of followers. A lot of them will return the shares and then all of their followers will see your items! Also make sure to follow a lot of people, many of them will follow you back and that helps grow the number of followers you have.

My aunt and I used to have a Hairbow business together and this seemed like a great forum to put out what I love to do and still seem close to her. I work from home and this seemed like the perfect way to supplement my job while tackling on the schedule of 2 young ones.

My heart breaks for you as a little girl trying to cope and probably being told to get over 😢 I was disgusted in 2014 after a battle with Cancer but I have lots of childhood trauma to go with it! danystormborn @jebprice actually it’s better for a couple of reasons, but the main one is because now that Poshmark is so big and there are so many items, a lot of people shop specific brands and/or by using specific keywords and the more items you have listed, the more likely it is that at least one of your items will pop up when people are searching for something, and that can bring more attention to your whole closet

danystormborn @jebprice yes there is way more too this than people think, but you will learn! A lot of it is honestly just figuring it out along the way, every so I often I experiment with a new idea to boost sales, and the ones that seem to work I run with, and the ones that don’t I abandon.

It takes time and patience and a lot of hard work but Poshmark can be a great source of income if you give it time. And thanks so much! I have a TON of new stuff I need to add as well, I just haven’t had time recently, but my hours got cut at work so I think next week I should have the time to take pictures and add some of my new stuff.
