omsamadhi @sportie40 💞Aww! Too kind! Yes, I work 12 hour shifts in the ICU and ER, which can certainly be long.....I do hope everything works out for your husband. It’s horrible getting older:( and it’s hard on the family too...you have a young one at home too... I’m sure it will all work out after you get past this bump in the road....

sportie40 Thanks for ur encouragement and I also feel like things will work out. It’s a much needed wake up call for him. It’ll force us both to eat better and take care of ourselves. My young one is 19 taking a gap year! Daughter graduated college last year.

sportie40 Thinking it worked out with not having a real job ( for now) so I can go with him to appts etc he works nights 12 shirts as well so I’ll be the driver😂🤣. Have a wonderful day!!!!

omsamadhi @sportie40 My youngest is 16 and a junior. Starting to look at colleges. But her maturity level is probably about 14....I’m hoping she takes a year off after HS before going to college. Take some time to grow up a bit. I hear you about the eating thing....I turn 50 this year, and I thought I would have aged better. So, it’s hit me a little hard. That and menopause.

omsamadhi @sportie40 Needless to say, eating is out of control. I know I’m just making it worse for myself, but I’m a little depressed about the whole aging thing. You see what my mother looked like. So turning 50 and not being as pretty as she thought I would be, is a little hard. Trivial & stupid I know!!!!LOL!

sportie40 Girl what do u mean ‘ pretty as she thought you would be”. We are so hard on ourselves... don’t be... it’s easier hard than done I know. I think hormones make us look and feel a bit off. No one told me it’ would be so difficult 💪 and being mothers and worrying doesn’t help.

sportie40 My son is 19 going on 14 as well. He can build computers, program anything but can figure out what to do next😂 don’t be too sad about growing old. When I feel that way I think of all the friends I’ve lost, younger than I am. Sometimes it helps, sometimes but doesn’t. Thrift shopping is the only thing that satisfies me... seriously 😅😂🌹🌺🌸

omsamadhi @fancyfinder Yes. thank you! These are old pictures of my Mother, back in her modeling days…. She had no many clothes when she died, that I started selling a few of them here. She’s the reason I am on PM. So, I found a few of her old photos and used them here. Thank you for your kind words🥰
