It's not quite as heavy as canvas, but it is much sturdier than most cotton totes. Dual handles attached 4 1/2" below the top drawstring. Tuck the 4 1/2" inside the bag and secure contents by pulling the drawstring closed, or expand the bag's volume by cinching the drawstring top side. Bag is new and has never been used.
