These are 100% comfort- lighter weight than some of their styles, but still with sure-footed walking in mind. Signature rubber outsoles, wraps & toe bumpers. No fussy buckles- elastic strap for easy on/off. Removable footbeds. Super cute with tights & socks or barefoot! 4 season shoe- wear indoors/around the house if you have sloppy winters. Look new on the foot- only very slight indication of wear to uppers, outsoles show gentle, even wear- tons of life left. Size 8.5- I’d say 8 if you wear a heavy sock
