I was expecting something between 25 and 27inches. Where did you measure from?

@bigrig44 I looked online for a video and it said to measure from center of back to shoulder which is 10", then from Shoulder to Hem is 26", so a total of 36". I think you meant from shoulder to hem which is 26". I hope this helps.
