gemsbyjoan @buffybrooks Hi, it's a long trench coat (wouldn't call it a rain coat though it can be worn out in the rain). No, no hood. There's weight to it with a zip out lining. Very well made.

whiteshemel40 @gemsbyjoan Hi Val. Beautiful coat and I will definitely be thinking about it. I just saw a beautiful London Fog at a Goodwill (for $9.95) that I was in love with but it was too small. So I came home and started looking on Poshmark. I would be more than happy to give you any information you may want. It's different here and definitely southern but with a city feel.

lillykoy If really like this, but your description says brown. It looks alike eggplant color to me, which i really like. Is the color,off in the photos?

gemsbyjoan @lillykoy it's not a deep brown nor is it purplish like the eggplant color. Color selection choices are limited to main/common colors here on Poshmark but I would state this coat is more brownish than purplish. If you decide to purchase, I'm open to offers.
