Mid Century Modern wall art with a poet or writer at her typewriter and mentions the Red Cross. This vintage 1940s magazine ad comes with a gray custom hand-cut mat that's ready to frame and hang up. It was printed during World War II and would look good in a home office. Nice gift for an Administrative Assistant, Office Manager or Generalist.
Using acid-free materials, I've carefully mounted the vintage magazine advertisement onto an 11X14 inch mat which has been hand-cut to a custom size specifically for this lovely vintage piece. This 1940's vintage treasure is ready-to-frame and would be so cute in a gallery wall art collection.
This vintage ad is from a 1940's magazine and printed on paper. If you look at the back of the ad, you will find another ad or newspaper article, this isn't a scanned reprint or reproduction.
To extend its life, place the artwork into a frame that has UV protecting glass and don't hang in direct sunlight to prevent fading and aging. Also, the ad was printed on delicate and thin paper that is old. Hanging this vintage ad in a humid room will probably warp your artwork.
The ad has been preserved in good vintage condition. Some slight wear and aging that adds to its historic charm may be found, such as color toning, faded colors, marks, edge damage, light bends or impressions in the paper. There may also be ink drops, marks, or missing ink in places that were from the original printing process. Please see images and zoom in to examine photos.
