Awwwh thanks so much for that compliment. I do appreciate that! Lots of things are for sale because I either can't wear because of size or height of heel etc. I'm not able to wear things I used to wear either do to weight gain because of meds or because I can no longer wear the shoes due to a femur break and bad back.

@nmiller6 that is a welcome compliment! I am 61 and feel like 80 with bad bones. Some genes are good and some not so good. I will put a pic of my mom who I lost in Sept. 2010 at the age of 87.

@amalina52 no way!!! Your full of it! 62? Nope you don't look a day over 29... You look like girls my age.. I have bones of an 80 year old lady... :( they won't do surgery in my neck. Lost most curvature and also is bone fused together. Would be a whole neck total disk replacement... I also lost a loved one a few months back my nana... :( it's sooooo hard.. Brings tears when it's the ones you love most dearly... So hard... Sorry for your loss sweet lady.

@nmiller6 i turn 62 in March. Anyway I do feel for you with bad bones. I have a slipped disc and I need a 17 level back fusion for scoliosis. I am only able to walk two or three blocks. I broke my right femur 3 years ago. Had a titanium rod put through the middle of the femur from knee to hip. I fell down wearing a short heel on my lv Floor at the time. Atypical fracture. Had to take lots of drugs and gained weight. I am at least 20 lbs too heavy I used to be a size 6 and now I am an 10-12 . I am still trying to lose weight but it is coming off very slow. Lost only 4 lbs. i won't wear a high heel anymore. Scared to!

@amalina52 goodness sakes lady!!! I wouldn't wear them either!!! You should try TMR for the weight and bones too.. Helps my arthritis and when I get my muffin top goin lol! It's a total meal replacement shake and all your vitimans.. My dad just lost like thirty pounds... I have never seen him without his belly.. It's kinda crazy but I'm glad he is happy with the results as well

@amalina52 it's an all natural shake. Has a lot of protein so your curbing all your hunger pangs, well if ya like me I have hypoglycemia.. So I eat n eat.. And that Shake is a meal in a glass. U just add water. It tastes good too. I thinks it's very healthy. I know it's good for bones and I like that it stops my cravings n makes me full. Gives ya energy too which is nice for a change! @amalina52 forgot ta tell ya ta get a sports drink cup with the shaky metal ball ta mix it with the water. It weighs like 3 lbs so it last longer than those expensive brands like vita shake n stuff and just carry your water with ya. And wa la!!!! ;) meal on the go. No sugar in it.. I like that too. Because even soda pop makes my neck and body ache...

@amalina52 Amy I wanted to tell you that you have some really beautiful things in your closet. And I was so struck by the photos of your beautiful mom. Made me think of my mom. She too was always dressed just so, and always with the hair and makeup. I lost her last February and I miss her so much.

@judyt726 Thanks for your message. I think about my mom every day. It has been three years and it feels like last week . I am sorry yo say that the sadness and loneliness hasn't gone away. I lost my dad 9 weeks after that. Different feeling though. How old was your mom? Mine was 87 and I was in Asia visiting with my sister when mom died so it was even more sad how it all happened.

@amalina52 my mom was 89 and it was two years after my dad. I was the local child, and the one who had a lifelong close relationship with them. I wouldn't trade any of what I had to do for them in the end, I'd do it all over again. They meant everything to me and my family. But it hurts everyday. I still want to pick up the phone and call my mother.

@judyt726 i was the one who also cared and did things with and for her as well. My sister was gone for four years in Jakarta and my brother although he lived down the street from her hardly gave her the time of day. The two of them just didn't get along. My sister when in town spent more time with her friends. I think they both have regrets about this although I have only one and that was that I left town by myself to go visit my sister before she moved to KL in Asia and that was when my mom had a heart attack that she died in her chair. My husband emailed me to call him. It was a 28 hour flight by myself home. Anyway, you are right, for at lest two years i would think about picking up the phone to call her. It was a weird feeling. You kind of feel orphaned!

@amalina52 From the time I was 13 I was the only child left at home. My brother had married and my sister went to college and never came back. My dad always said he had me for his old age and that turned out to be so true. My brother moved far away and when he came back I was in my 30s with 2 kids and he was jealous of the relationship. There was a big blow up and he essentially divorced himself from the family. He doesn't know his parents died. My sister came when it suited her, but never during sailing season. She was difficult but I tried hard to maintain a relationship. Fast forward, it's all over after I jumped through hoops and gave her family more than they were entitled to. Guilt does interesting things to people. But I'm not responsible for her guilt. You have to believe that you couldn't have done anything differently. There's a reason for everything. You were not supposed to see your mom pass.

@nmiller6 not much going on here. Trying to eak out a few $ from poshmark sales but very slow goin. It is funny how somwtimes there is a rush of sales all at once, then nothing for several weeks. Haven't tried the shake because of dubious ingredients I noticed in it. Don't ask me what now since Zi have forgotten! Hows it going with you???

@nmiller6 heh where do you live? Although we have had an unusually cold winter, I can't complain because mostly it has been beautiful weather here lately. It is supposed yo drop into the 30's though tonight. Unfortunately when we have beautiful weather, my allergies start acting up! No fun.

@amalina52 sorry just got yur messages. The weather was nice here too. Then it flopped n we got snow.. ;( but I take Sta-restored from Stanatural.com seems ta calm it down a lot. I've got DDD and horrible neck arthritis. Always feel the storms coming on. But a lot of other people have told me they think it calms the fibromyalgia stuff too. We need some spring sunshine down here!!! Lol

Wow! Your story of gaining weight is exactly as mine! I've seen every doctor until I just found this doctor! Her name is MaryAnn StPetery in Birmingham, Al. Look her up and read about her. Maybe you can find someone like her where you live. She tests your blood for things regular doctors don't test for! In the first 2 weeks after seeing her and her having me on a very strict elimination diet, I've lost 8 pounds!!!! I'm doing this diet for 21 days
