Madame Alexander restrung 8" Jack and Jill dolls with stands. No box. Eyes open and close easily. The elastic on their hats is loose. Madame Alexander dolls are held together with rubber bands. Over the years the bands become stretched or brittle. Don't risk buying a doll that isn't restrung. It may become floppy or break in shipping. All of my dolls have strong and tight bands.
