Hi! I'm Marian. Welcome to my closet. I retired in 2018 and am enjoying getting back to sewing and gardening. I love anything to do with fabric! Love walking thru fabric stores, be it for quilting or sewing clothes. Love retro looks, Free people, Spell & the Gypsy, anything boho inspired, label or not. Am loving Poshmark. Love the hunt for things I love and hopefully find it a new home with someone who loves it too.

marianking269 @bjnewnan123 to me the top is what makes it so great. I was so sad to see the stain part but i thought i would offer it free so the buyer could at least see if they could make it work. The raw silk is so elegant and i love the texture of the natural silk.

bjnewnan123 Well, I’m here to help you! I had to figure out most by myself. Twice a day share your closet in the appt. make sure you put your best stuff at the top. Follow as many people as you can every day. Look on feed or shop. Hook up with people your size and taste. Share at the theme parties every day. You can never have enough exposure! I joined mid January. Build your closet, even ask friends for giveaways

I googled, you tubed etc. for all kinds of ?'s and still have unanswered ones😵 As for the closet clearout, when you are on the news section, at the top where Poshmark announces the event if you hit the forward button it explains a lot about the time limitations. I believe it lasts 6 hours after you drop the price. If a buyer purchases after that the shipping goes back to the regular amount. Hope this helps somewhat.

marianking269 If someone 'likes" an item doesn't mean they are wanting to buy. If it is after the 6 hours they would have to pay the full postage. After the 6 hours you can always make an offer to a liker with discounted shipping if you want. However the difference would be paid by you, not PM.

marianking269 @barbie5801 that would make it much easier all around. Some people would rather make their own "clear the closet" & offer discounted shipping. My daughter does it. Said it is easier for her. But I like doing the PM one since they pay the shipping😊 I checked out your closet and it looks good. It is especially nice for new buyers who don't quite know how things work. I am still figuring out stuff so i am sorry i don't have a lot of info. But contacting PM is a great idea.

marianking269 . you are right bundles and offers do not qualify. I searched google and didn't find a good work around for this. Seems like it is geared towards those who are only interested in 1 item, perhaps a lowered priced item that they dont want to pay full shipping price for.

mazyodc @marianking269 I too am a Senior (81) and in NJ we’re beginning to close down most businesses. In our town we have 5 cases (all in the hospital) and just found out that all restaurants in our town will only be open for take out and delivery. Looks like it will be quite awhile before we get through this. But like you, I’m trying to work on my closets both the real ones and the virtual posh closets😍
