This spoiled girl loves maxing and relaxing in the window. Her friends call her Jezzie. She is my fluffiest little confidant and my favorite tiny friend. We adopted Jezebel 4 years ago. She has recently been very ill with hepatitis and diabetes. The vet wanted to put her to sleep but I nursed her back to almost full health. The love and support of my PFFs helped immeasurably. corin1965 I'm glad you didn't give up on her. My black cat Miss Kitty I rescued when she was 7 weeks. She just turned 6. The right food will help control the diabetes. I had a dog that needed insulin 2 a day, and prescription food.

jezebels_mom @angelpaws Rochambeau and Jezzie have an on again off again relationship. They both love to sleep and play box each other. Robespierre kept hissing at little girl when she was sick and she’s out him firmly in his tiny place. All 3 cats hang out on the bed with me! I love to talk about my kids!

jgreen0722 I will always stop to shop a fellow cat lovers closet,also will share. My cat on my closet is Tory she is the queen of the house. We have done abandon cat rescue for many years. Your sweet fur baby takes great pictures. I also like your closet. If you want l would love to hear about your baby. I also have a black cat named Bozi he’s an angel too. jezebels_mom @lilimcweezie that sounds correct. We didn’t have the funds to do all the expensive tests the 1st vet wanted to do so they advised putting her to sleep. Jezzie’s symptoms were: 2 new boy cats at home, sudden weight loss, extreme thirst, loss of appetite, hiding and achiness. We took her to a second vet who gave us fluids, pain med, liquid nutrition and all meds to take care of her at home. Jezebel had been losing hair for years and was never super frisky.

jezebels_mom @lilimcweezie As she recovered all her fur grew back and she started playing with her new brothers. This all happened in February. The second vet coached us through it over the phone and we are planning to take her in for a visit as soon as we can finish getting the 2 new boys vaccinated,neutered and chipped.

jezebels_mom @lilimcweezie here’s what we’re doing for her now: feeding her blue buffalo wet food, homemade chicken and broth, water stops everywhere and monitoring her little body during daily rubs. Should I be doing anything else? Thank you so much for caring! Julie🧿

lilimcweezie @jezebels_mom The 2nd vet was an angel for coaching you over the phone! I had 3 cats with it, only one survived. It's anorexia which causes liver failure.

lilimcweezie @jezebels_mom It definitely sounds like you're on top of it. I had to do force feedings, sometimes nasal tube and fluids 5 times a day.
