But yes I do understand about the makeup being a Playland That is the one thing I have missed most about being sick...it was actually how I definitely knew something was seriously wrong when I didn't have the strength to "put on my face" I am looking forward to getting better for that reason 😁

@candykissa143 I will be having partial colon removal surgery on January 13th. I am pretty private so I typically don't open up but decided I needed to side I needed to temporarily close my closet for a week. I just put up a sign today & to be honest I didn't expect to form some of the personal relationships on here that I have started to so I am trying to open up more 😊

I will be in the hospital for about a week because it is an open surgery & off 4-6 weeks from work but just closing the closet for a week at this point & see how things go. I have been dealing with this almost 3 years now so I am excited & nervous at the same time! I just need to be better 😄I appreciate your support 💕

@lucksterlw surgery is never fun your too cute though with the nervous and EXCITED part lol your going to feel better after this though thank goodness well you will feel worse before you feel better but def better in the long haul and that has it's major advantages do I get the excitement in a sense too

@thatbohochic I'm not technically I was a body and face artist for fifteen years so I have a lot of backround with color and anatomy and physicgy I'm just an artist at the end of the day but I love makeup and I will be going to the makeup forever school just for some more networking in abot 6 months it's def my passion thankyou so much for the compliment I swear by this darn moon shadow from urban decay and my starlooks liner lol

Retail marketing and merchandising! Right now I'm doing it in store level management but I'm hoping to move to some higher volume stores to get experience there and then go to school for business and marketing to continue along that path! It's all I've ever wanted to do since I got my first retail job at 16 :)

I'm okay now. But after he died I didn't work for 8 months and I gained almost 100 pounds. I've lost 65 of those pounds. I had terrible guilt and regret after he died. Had to have counseling. There is a picture of him in my closet.

@dkjewelry when I lost my dad pretty young on my early 20's it took me 9 years to get over it. It wasn't until I really believed he was in heaven and that we all go to the same place no matter what's it is that I accepted it. I know it's very different bc a parents death is more natural in that they are older and it is expected but he was sick almost all of my life and died when I was too young

@dkjewelry but loosing a child completely defies everything we think or know it will never make sense or feel right but somehow we have to make peace with it and I just feel like that's the hardest thing to overcome... So the fact that your going forth and not giving up is something I commend you for, respect and look up to. I felt guilt too but why you obviously love your child to infinity and no matter where his soul goes he will always be something beautiful you created

@twinkletoestoni oh gosh in sorry to hear that my dad and his mom had diabetes and it's really bummer I'm hypoglycemic so I have to watch too bc if I'm not careful I can get diabetes as well... It's rough but your tough!!! And that's an important thing to have. As far as makeup end of January to mid February probably I'm making my list and checking it twice :-)

@twinkletoestoni yeah it's weird when I was you get and I was told I was hypoglycemic I thought ok that's not so bad I get to eat more candy bars lol then my doc said no no that's not what that means you need to be healthy or it can reverse to high sugar its def weird how it transforms but if your still going from night to low def focus on diet healthy... You may still be on the cusp..

@candykissa143 Wow that's good to know. Yes I'm on the cusp. My A1C is 7.0 which is right in the border of not needing insulin. But I take a med that makes me so tired and zombie like I feel like crap most of the time. I'm going to see if she will switch it. Thanks doll. PS. YAY FOR MORE MAKEUP!! 😘😘😘

@twinkletoestoni see a specialist ASAP.... You night be able to still stop it from occurring... If they give you a really serious nutrition plan get you healthy working out all that.... I remember as a kid that's what my doc told me he said when your hypo you can still change it from turning into doable ties with proper maintenance..... Google doctor time... I don't know how long the window is open but everything is worth a shot I think

@twinkletoestoni oh a specialist... That and if there are any diet plans that can neutralize hypoglycemia from what I know about hypo it's pretty much a balance diet... And basically all the bad stuff we love to eat is out I remember my doc said no mcdonalds and I said what your nuts lol but yeah none of that ;-(

I'm totally serious! I used to watch this show called Jerseylicious (something like that) and they were hair stylists and some broke off to be makeup artists. They did bridal parties and training sessions and all kind of cool things. You have some serious skill... And obviously a flawless palette! :)

Your to sweet!! And a jersey girl and you know we're the best!! In recent years, I wore (max amazing artist did it..light in the front corner, a darker invthevcenter, a darker shimmer in the crease(Browns) with black at outer edge...actually was the first time it actually enhanced my eyes!! Then I experimented with oranges, and pinks....I was pretty shocked it looked great!!! I was tan usually at the time...I also use gold the way you use silver!!!

Ran into him again later on, stopped by, he was in the office said I'm in a jam I need to sketch a face place the make up, I was like oh no problem, he was goofing on me..he's like now next person walks in do it in 3D...I did it all..she bought it all...and yes I was a make up artist..the best girls bat mitzvah do the after party sleep over took five minutes, have them love for an hour and out the door!! 80 bucks!!!

@angelfish94 oh I worked primarily in New York so I was a senior painter so whatever seniority lol but yeah in paid a ton directly but if I'm sub contracted anywhere from 100-150 pr hour but behind a makeup counter (my bf keeps saying go for it and I'm like I'm too spoiled from New York pay) so I love doing makeup and I totally do it for my pals never ask for anything ever but I feel like working at a makeup counter you get jipped did you feel that way?

@lauras_boutique interesting enough we have the same exact eye color lol if your looking for a glittery shadow to make your eyes pop over a matte brown I think diamond dog from urban decays moonshadows is a beautiful brown glitter also I like the blendability in the naked palettes for a bronzed iridescent look I recommend the color sin also UD it's a really nice golden tone but I would use that to accent a mauve lid and a deep smokey brown crease I have many many many more shadows to suggest

I also have dry skin but it is in nice condition, so I don't like alot of coverage and I like a more dewy finish. I've tried many different brands, and I find the powder kind like bare minerals too drying for me. Any ideas? I was just looking at the Becca line and a few others to try?😘💕💞xoxo

So first step is exfoliating dead dry skin, then using a toner of course a moisturizer and is even suggest a nice truffle oil serum or any serums for that matter stay hydrated in the am and pm

@lauras_boutique moving along lol next comes the biggie your primer your primer should alwayssssssw be on under any foundation of any sort.... For a light barely there finish in a solo foundation I suggest airflash dior it comes in a spray you can use a foundation brush with extended bristles in a circular motion to get a nice even finish.... Temptu is an airbrush system that has amazing airbrush foundation but it's pricy and takes a little getting used to

@bubblegoldfish your a natural bohemian pretty gal you don't need much makeup anyhow ;-) I look at this kind of makeup as a fad in fashion if I did this type. Of makeup everyday my eyes would fall out of my head from overload lol thank you though it is my art more fun doing it on other people lol....

How do I adjust the charge to eliminate the ship fee? Again I just can't find an answer ... Thanks am I allowed to pick up but still pay thru poshmark

@ladysadee ooooo that's a tough one we actually can't eliminate the shipping. Poshmark designed it this way specifically so we couldn't do offline transactions bc they are against posh rules and regulations. I wish we had local shipping rates available too... And it's never a bother sweetie you can ask me a thing anytime .., ;-) I'm happy to help

@ladysadee I'll answer then one at a time lol first question does the posh app help. Yes personally I prefer it to using the computer and also it's really easy to navigate through the posh app especially if your thinking about becoming a seller.

No lol I wouldn't calm it spam in to he app you would get the same number of motivations as you would on a computer or not using the app also there is a setting where you can turn off email notifications and do everything directly through the app which I find to be a cinch ;-)

You any turn them off unfortunately but they are great to have for both the seller and the buyer assuming people are making reasonable offers but don't get discouraged if your interested in selling if people make bad offers se can't afford it others are looking for a bargain all you an do is bargain with them or polite fully decline

@ladysadee well technically when you like something it is a saved search but you have to actually manually look at your notifications for price drops and they can happen often or never of a buyer says the price is firm typically they are less likely to waiver the price but a private offer may interest them also you an see all your saved likes on the app which is pretty cool I think

@ladysadee oh and your last question about offers I used to get notifications when sellers made offers but as of recent I haven't been getting them to my email so it's quite possible that's a glitch I actually have to email in about that myself lol and girl it's all good I'm happy to help my email is sweets159@aol.com if you have anymore Q's not a problem at all ;-) were just limited to 500 characters here

@candykissa143 you are welcome!! It was great! Some of it quite boring but some of it quite interesting. Told us never to apply black eyeliner to use brown, which I found to be crazy. I love black eyeliner so that to me was useless. Other than that I loved it. Seeing your eye makeup brought me back to applying it on other people. Looks really good.

I know that if you have blue eyes brown is a nice accent bc it complements blue eyes but that's weird that they would say not to use black liner I use it all the time lol I have like 80 trillion black eyeliners lol... I want to go to the makeup forever school in manhatten bc it's the best in the world it's like 16k though lol

@candykissa143 oh wow!! I would love to do that!! Yes they told us black was to harsh so use brown lol that lasted a couple of years lol I was using dark brown anyway close to black. I have all black liners like you to many to count. That didn't stick with me at all. I think black brings out the eyes better unless you have really bad dark circles under your eyes and of course not accentuate that lol.

@candykissa143 So true! I went to the Barbizon school of Modeling just for the makeup and some of the other learning experiences. It didn't cost nearly as much as makeup forever, but I do love their cosmetics. Also makeup forever would probably be just for makeup right? Are you in New York?
