Mr. Mankoff takes you on an entertaining journey with words-and-pictures through the art, craftsmanship, and “Zen” of cartooning. Along the way, he also reveals his personal story about his growth as an artist, and about life at the New Yorker. The original jacket has a few issues. The book itself has no highlighting, notes or underlining of any kind. If you are an aspiring cartoonist, or a professional, it would do you good to have this wonderful book in your collection.
