swanimee @maria_mika-Hi Maria! Thank you for the questions. The designer who made the pants named this style “curvy”. That usually means that the hip area of the pants has a wider cut (different from the “skinny” style slacks). Since your mother is 5 feet tall, the pants will probably sit right at her ankle and won’t look “short”. Have a good day.
