My family and I wear several different types of glasses. I love wearing glasses not only for correction for my eyesight but as statement pieces of art. Fashionable glasses are unique, chic, classy and even sexy. I remember a time when glasses were worn only as a necessity. Most people hated wearing glasses. Bullies called them “four eyed”.

Hi, I LOVE your awesome photos! I totally remember being called 4 eyes or they would say boys never make passes at girls who wear glasses so I would remove them at school and squint @@ LOL The only 2 glasses available (when you were poor and used Lyon's Club) was black or brown cat yes. I hated them and always seemed to lose them (my poor parents). Now they are popular. I'm so glad times changed for the young people today. ~Audi

My mother was KNOWN for her glasses even till she passed last yr at 96!! id call her Francine" from the Hallmark cards she started to remind me of - cuz she was so tny at 74 lbs all glasses and hair! . But i wish i had some pix of some SOoooo ahead of her time and prescription of course. She had cat swan like ones i see them in my head so clearly❤️💕💋👍🏻👍🏻
