It is in excellent condition. The interior has been cleaned and has a brushed suede look and is very soft and supple. The exterior canvas is very good and the Zipper hardware works great. The interior and exterior of the bag are both in very good, overall shape. The date code has long ago almost worn off the interior of the bag. The only letters that can be read are NO09 and I think 38. And they are very faint and hard to see. This bag is extra versatile because it can be used as a clutch/toiletry bag or a shoulder bag. The non-Louis Vuitton chain, and key fob on the Louis Vuitton logo zipper pull, comes with the bag. The rings that hold the chain have been extra secured by washers to help spread the torque. This was completed by a professional and was done just like the distinctive, Louis Vuitton Marley bandolier straps, on each side of the bag so everything is centered appropriately and the bag doesn’t tilt in any way. The chain has an approximately 24 inch drop and is 2 mm thick, and fits under the arm perfectly.
