If you are familiar with this collection, you know how beautiful and elegant this piece is. Made entirely by hand. Fine bone china teapot with gold trim. Purchased on a trip to England. Kept on display in a China cabinet. Never used. Slight mark on handle, but was purchased that way. Has original pink box and card and original wrapping, just not sure how to make the wrapping look perfect again. The Royal Collection is one of the finest art collections in the world reflecting the personal tastes of British sovereigns over the last 500 years. The works of art are owned by The Queen as Sovereign in trust for Her successors and the Nation, and the collection is administered by a charity, the Royal Collection Trust. This official range of fine bone china commemorates the golden age of Queen Victoria (1819-1901) and has been designed exclusively for the Royal Collection. The design takes its inspiration from English bone china commissioned by Queen Victoria for the Great Exhibition of 1851. Queen Victoria succeeded to the throne at the age of 18 and reigned over one of the most remarkable periods of growth, change and discovery whilst the British Empire was at its peak. As Queen she was greatly admired and respected. * Not suitable for use in dishwashers or microwaves.

ali_catnip can you tell me if this is the 4 cup teapot that currently sells for £110 or so at Harrods or if it's another one? bigger or different? I know the royal collection is pretty extensive.

asta_alfreddo @ali_catnip I looked at the Harrods listing and I think it’s the same but can’t guarantee 100%. I made an adjustment to the listing. Thank you for the observation.

asta_alfreddo @catwalk5761 hmmm…I don’t think so. I’m looking at it and I think I see all the dots. I think you’re referring to a spot where they must have started and stopped the circle of dots and there’s a gap. I’ll update the photo and add a new pic. I don’t think it’s missing, I think it’s the way it was painted. Looks like the painter may have “nipped” a little that day!
