Doncaster Collection Blazer NWT Doncaster was a renowned fashion brand, offering timeless, classic styles for the modern woman. The company began in 1931. Its founders were S.B. Tanner, Jr. and his wife Millie of Rutherfordton. In 1935 the company began direct sales to consumers, through the Junior League of Charlotte. The concept caught on and the business grew nationwide, with Millie as designer and S.B. (known as BoBo) as the business director. Doncaster closed in 2018 and products from that time period are becoming harder and harder to find making them highly desirable vintage pieces.
