paroleviolation @ugentfurs I want it, because I have a friend that *loves* foxes (and fur) and i'm pretty sure they are getting sick of getting actual fox furs for gifts haha. Unfortunately, their birthday was just a couple weeks ago. Maybe around christmas time if it's not spoken for, it *finally* got hot here and I already am dreading picking and chosing which furs I want to drag to the vault for cold storage and which ones I want to keep out! Don't want this lil foxy guy to get lost in the mess. :-)

ugentfurs @paroleviolation just in case, I'm not sure what your furrier charges for storage, but we charge $79 which includes cleaning and glazing. We have customers ship us their coats from all around the country. Everything us done in house. Nothing leaves our store.

paroleviolation @ugentfurs here's my problem, I know you're just in WI and i'm in MI but i don't even know how much my furrier in my city would charge for all that i have (my collection grows every year 😔) because it's more then just a coat and a few pieces. It's like an actual zoo. Are there any certain species you can't ship to WI? (like you can't ship wolf fur to CA for example?)

paroleviolation @ugentfurs What species of fur is more I guess, prone to damage from the heat/humidity/sunlight? I'm not worried about pests/bugs or anything. I have way too much to ship it all over there, it would cost me a fortune. I got a fox fur bomber jacket w/ hood not long ago at all i'm worried about. Only worn once. Also a coydog mountain man style hat - i'm worried about the erect ears like warping in the heat or something idk.

ugentfurs @paroleviolation all furs are prone, but I would ship what matters to you most to keep in the best condition. If it is just fur trimmed, those aren't as important as a full coat. What you worry about more than the fur is the hide, because once the hide starts drying out, it will rip and sewing it becomes like sewing through paper. Pick a few items that are more important to you, email us and my dad can quote you. If they are brand new, you probably don't have to clean them.
