Hi I'm Suzy. I started on Posh just trying to sell a few things haha! I'm hooked! My closet is a mix of my stuff and friends so the sizes vary a lot! Everything is in new to excellent condition. When I'm not Poshing I'm gardening, practicing yoga, playing Mahjong, beading, cooking or shopping for more clothes! Not that I know everything but please if your new to PM and have questions I'd love to help.

I actually think lately my closet is too busy with all the frames colors etc. I am starting to go with a more simple theme myself but since I don't want to take all new pics and I deleted all of the copies I have to change as I sell. Anyway there are lots of apps for frames and they are easy to use. Happy Poshing

@jessregelson Thank you! A girl can never get too many complements😜. Yes the silver haired ladies are not a big percentage around Posh........I went to Poshfest I was for sure the oldest one there! I had a ball, meet a lot of wonderful ladies. I looked at your work! Wow nice. I love birds so I was into it. I have tons of mosaics not finished work just the loose tiles😱. I retirement is way too busy too many hobbies....some day.

Thanks for taking a look at my work, Suzy! I appreciate it. Yes, I really love making mosaics of birds. I've been doing this professionally since 1998, but making is one thing, selling another! So Posh has been a surprising help...I am a bit of a thrift store junkie anyway, and I love finding beautiful things to sell here. I'm also into gardening, but New England winter is in full swing here. If you ever decide to do something with those tiles, give me a holler. I can give you advice, especially if you want to make something that may want to live in your garden, or anywhere out of doors. Meanwhile, such a pleasure to chat, and thanks again for going to my website!!

@elleemann No it didn't come out as negative at all. I thought it was funny. But I know that can be a problem on Posh. I've got in trouble myself😱. Somehow when you say something in person it comes up totally different than when you say it here. I told a Latin lady that I had used bad grammar in something I said to her and she thought I was criticizing HER! Omg I could not convince her of what I meant and I turn out she wouldn't talk to me 😰.

I know I've "followed" you for a while and shared your closet, but this is the first time I'm reading about you! Let me say 1) You're gorgeous! Then & now. 2) Your hubby is a cutie! 3) Your cat is so adorable and photogenic! If I try to take a pic of my dog, I swear he knows and will NOT look at the camera unless I have a cookie, which then makes him drool obsessively and ruins the pic! haha. Your closet is very eclectic, I like that. I'm with you, I just dress for my mood and never held true to one specific "style." I tend to always lean more towards beachy & boho though, but work & grad school force me to keep a preppy side close by also! Have a great Sunday!

Oh STOP it! I'm not that young, I'm about 10-13 years older than what people always think! Either way, my mother always said I had an old soul growing up, that I would have made the best hippie/flower child in the 60's! I love the 60's and I wasn't even born! I also love the 20's and the 50's. Oh how I wish I could remember my past lives ;) It's wonderful to meet you! We do have a lot in common, just on different journeys. Hi, Suzy!! I had a meal there years ago, and I remember it being great. But Providence is FULL of amazing restaurants! If you have time for another great meal or two, I have a few suggestions. Are you staying downtown? I would strongly recommend Nick's on Broadway, Broadway Bistro, and Al Forno. There is also a remarkable shop which you would love called SIMPLE PLEASURES, at Richmond Square. Amazing clothes, jewelry, gifts, etc. Do you have transportation? Let me know if you want more recommendations. I don't want to overwhelm you.

I know you print a label, posh charges. $4.99. Do you have to go priority mail Only & how does it work, do you have to have the package weighed if you think it's over $4.99 and pay the difference? @nannyharper sure I would love to help. Really very easy. When you sell something Posh will send you a shipping label ( the buyer pays) you just press view and print it out and that will cover anything up to 5 pounds which is a lot merchandise if it does go over 5 pounds you will need to go to your sale and then it'll say need a new shipping label and you just press need new shipping label need for more weight. The seller pays for any weight over 5lb. Anything else?

@nannyharper Yes you need to use priority mail boxes that can be ordered for free through usps.com don't use flat rate. They look very similar but are different. Or you can use a plain box and the post office will give you priority labels

@nannyharper if you get an order that is like 3 pairs of shoes and a few clothing items it could go over you would just let your buyer know when you bundle that you want to weigh first and add the extra to their order cause you will have to pay the extra out of your posh account or on a cc. I haven't had one of those in a long time 😜. Hoping!

@tribute2son Thanks for all the nice complements! I only have pictures of stuff I can still find current or sometimes you can just google an item and find a picture of it. I just googled the gold RL bag you have in your closet and found a picture right away. I just search in images then use my iPad or iPhone and take a screen shot. Then I use an app called Lipix to frame it. So it fits Poshmarks square format. Hope that helps

@suzyque I bet !! Florida summers are no joke!! We are planning on retiring in Florida but not sure how well I will adjust! Grew up in Cali..very hot but have been in NY for 30 yrs. Doing well.. Work, grand babies, dogs, life! 😍 Was off posh for a long while but gained weight so having to replace my wardrobe and posh is the best way to do that!

You probably already answered this. But what do I do when a buyer is complaining that an item is not as described when it was new with tags and even shipped with the orginal shopping bag from purchase. I didn't remember to take photos when shipping so all I have is the photos from the listing. How can I defend myself?

@mgnbaker7 I wouldn't worry too much. You have the pictures of the actual listing right? It probably just didn't fit her and she is trying to see if she can get a refund. But I've had this happen and posh gave me my money anyway. Poshmark is pretty fair.

@fladaw60 Well I hope I helped. The only time you don’t have to use @ is when you are in someone’s closet and everything you say will be seen by her/him. You seem to be doing well with sales😁. If have any questions even the smallest dumb thing I’ll try to help. I know when I first started so many little things confused me. And now with bundles and offers etc there is even more to learn. @puckcowboy This makes me so mad this is happened before and it doesn’t mean that it’s not heading your way sometimes when the mailman picks it up which he did because I was on my way to the post office and I saw the mailman outside so I gave it to him he probably didn’t scan it but I did give it to them on Tuesday so I would say you should be getting it tomorrow I would hope but I’m in Florida so it’s quite a trip maybe another day

I've experienced the same thing with USPS tracking online too in the past, but I wanted to confirm this did go out and was on it's way. I will keep you posted if it arrives today. If you have the actual tracking number and are able to send it over just in case, that would be appreciated as well. Thank you again!

@suzyque UPDATE: I just received an email from Poshmark with a USPS tracking number, and it is reporting as having just arrived in Denver, DO as of 9:30am this morning. Not sure who you talked to at USPS, but seeing as Denver is over 1000 miles from me, I don't see it arriving before 8pm tonight. Not even sure about tomorrow. On Poshmark it said expedited shipping, which is usually no more than 3 days even with USPS from Florida. Oh well :(

Hi @Suzyque. Sorry to keep bugging you about this, but this doesn't look like it going to arrive until Tuesday. Seeing as you shipped this on Tuesday, I was curious if this was shipped via Priority Mail as Poshmark says all items are shipped by? The route it is taking looks like it's going standard or ground :(

@Suzyque. Just got off the phone with USPS & they said it might arrive tomorrow or Wed. Either way, it looks like it will arrive too late. More disappointing, they said the package wasn't dropped off to the PostOffice until Fri. Mar, 8th! You mentioned handing this to the mailman on the 5th, so not sure what happened. But that’s 3 days until USPS said they received it! Suffice it to say, I'm bummed this was not taken directly to the post office as you originally mentioned.

I read that a seller was out of stock and she commented to the buyer that she has reordered and that she would tag her when the restock came in. Does the seller just write the buyers closet name down? Or is there a way to input that information so seller can tag?
