lizziechapman @mariannesj07 so sorry that I forgot to get back to you sooner! The waistband has elastic. The waist is approximately 16in laying flat without stretching, but stretches comfortably up to to about 21.5 inches laying flat. Please feel free to let me know if you have any further questions!
