Hi my name is Kimberly. I have Multiple Sclerosis. I was diagnosed 14 Years ago. What is MS? Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is an inflammatory disease of the Central Nervous System (CNS) - that's the brain and spinal cord. Predominantly, it is a disease of the "white matter" tissue. The white matter is made up of nerve fibres which are responsible for transmitting communication signals both internally within the CNS and between the CNS and the nerves supplying rest of the body.

hanssolo1 Hi, I also was diagnosed with MS in 2006. I see so many things I use to wear as far as shoes (stilettos and fancy type-high heels). It saddens me that I can no longer wear them. But I continue to look for fashionable type shoes I can wear so I can keep it movin'! But I will shop your closet to see what's there!

coach_fan @hanssolo1 hey fellow ms-er lol I wear wedges ALOT. Volitles are the BEST! I'm 6ft but I still like my heals. I find as long as they have a WIDE heal I'm okay. But then again I'm a flip flop girl most of the time. Where do u live?

hanssolo1 I'm in Cols Ohio. Where do you live? I'm glad you can still where your shoes. My balance and coordination can be bad on some days and okay on the rest!

coach_fan I'm in Louisiana. Don't get me wrong, I'm very stubborn and fall ALOT! My ms is very progressive and some days I can't walk. One attack I had I had to learn how to walk all over again. That was very rough. I HATE THIS DISEASE! And the fact that it's an invisible one. U know what I mean, it's not like a broke arm and ppl can see it. I hide it very well. If its a good day you would never know. Did I mention I HATE IT! Lol

hanssolo1 You know I hate it as well! And yes, I have fallen a lot myself. I now have to 'suck up' to using a cane. Ppl will ask me what's wrong if they don't know already. I use to go to clubs and have a good time. Haven't done that in years! So I know what you are saying 'why us'? My doctor says depression does set in. I experience it.
