Talbots Vintage Y2K Lightweight Field Jacket

Vintage from about 2000, this classic field-style jacket by Talbots features a glorious light stone color, making it a perfect neutral outer layer that you can throw on over any outfit! It's made from a lightweight 97% cotton/3% spandex blend fabric that won't overheat you and has just the right amount of stretch for ultimate comfort. The lovely material has a very slight sheen to it, which gives it a sleek, high-end gloss that's super interesting! The jacket is tailored for a flattering hourglass fit and has a band collar that can be worn folded down or buttoned up around your neck in windy/rainy weather. Large matching-colored buttons run down the front and also fasten the sleeve cuffs. Vertical flap pockets in front offer a great place to tuck your hands or stash a couple small items. Flaps at the bust nod to classic trench coats, as do the epaulette-inspired decorative loops and panels that define and frame the shoulders. Finally, diagonal seams on the sleeves add further definition and detail. Overall, this is a timeless, flexible piece that will be amazing for transitional weather when you just need a light jacket to pull your outfit together! It will look chic with jeans and a striped T-shirt or button-down, and will be fantastic over a casual stretch jersey dress and sneakers! There are very very faint marks on the back near the collar and on the front of the left sleeve (see last 2 pics) but otherwise excellent condition!
