This is a NEW fresh off of my jewelers bench for my Natural Kharma Collection 2023. These are gorgeous 3k each teardrop cut natural opals for a total karat weight of over 9k all set in solid 925 sterling silver with 24k gold findings. This is a simple but BEAUTIFUL piece. mgreen8888 Hello it is me again. Next month, I want to do your Opal collections. I want a necklace, earrings and a ring. I have a few in my bundle. I want it to be something I can wear casual but can look good a little more dressed up. I am not sure if Oprah is best in sterling silver or gold filled? We can talk about it then. mgreen8888 Hello. I was away. I just got back today and I love your workmanship. It is really delicate and very well done. The amethyst in the necklace were a little lighter than in the earrings, but it works well. I live when you add the extra to y if the 24k gold to the designs, it really makes it unique and it pops. I will definitely buy more from you , just in a couple of months. I went a little crazy this month buying stuff. Thanks again

avelonsattic @mgreen8888 Michigan!!?!? SUPER COLD for MOST of the year there, from what I understand! I use 925 sterling as my base metal. Mostly due to the fact that gold is more than $2000 an ounce now and most of my customers can't or won't pay the higher prices that gold requires. I loose money frankly. I do however pour or dip my pieces in gold when using as accent metal. as in your earrings.

avelonsattic @mgreen8888 I will sometimes use solid gold for the findings too. But like I mentioned, people just want something for nothing and I end up losing too much on the bottom line.

mgreen8888 Yes gold is definitely expensive. Doing gold filled is a lot less and it definitely makes the pieces much more elegant. I like what you did with my earrings and the necklace. Have a great night
