The One Two Three’s of Negotiation; I will NEVER understand why people get mad about lowballs. I may need $5 one day I’m pretty poor! 😩 What’s low to me may not be low to you. Hopefully this will help for my closet at least. Seems simple to me. 1. Make an offer-we all like offers! 2. Wait for my response. (As the seller never decline-if it’s too low counter with your lowest!Also from what I know about the new algorithm, not countering pushes you backward)

@loopholer everytime someone declines an offer I giggle a little bit and out of shock sometimes cuz I'm always telling everyone NVR EVER decline always ALWAYS counter, you never know what someone is willing to pay for something or how much they want that item you cant assume! declining is just like saying "oh nvr mind it's not for sale or oh nvm mind I dont want you to buy it".

@loopholer it’s so true! And if you really don’t want offers and the price is firm there is a simple fix - put that in your listing. I’ve never understood the flat out declines. 🤷🏻♀️

@loopholer I always remind myself of a rule I made up when hit w/ a "lowball" offer:i call it the DTIP. Don't Take It Personally. They're just clothes, clothes I dont wear/don't want. People are struggling, its smart to try to get more bang for ur buck within reason. That said, dont offer less than half of what a tag is, that just tends to tick peeps off.

@loopholer yes, I feel theres a lot of people, most very young on this platform, some not though, who've just never realized the extent of their own privilege, & can be quite haughty. Some also are unaware of the basic rules of resale, & want to get what they paid for something, which is just naiïvity. Lovely speaking w/ you as well! Keep on being yo awesome self!

@loopholer Such an insult when someone says that an offers a lowball. declining is the dumbest thing someone could do to deter sales.. I'll never understand it lol if I dont want to sell sh*t I put it up for a higher price but what I dont do is try to scare off every customer that makes an offer lol. btw I'm so tempted to steal or tag ppl in this whenever they say "lowball" offer 😂.

@loopholer I love the posts about "lowball offers" where they threaten to block those who send them, I'm like ok cool I would not want to buy from someone who even acts like that, this is a place to get deals right, Im Like you, what's low to them may not be low to me, I saw one the other day where the girl said she will not sale to a newbie, u must have been a Posher for x AMT of time and have more than one review, and no negative comments in reviews otherwise blocked

@awnesha Yes dear it’s been a probably coming up on a year since Roxanne passed away I actually was texting with her the night that she passed I still think about it all the time especially now with the holidays it extremely sucks and I guess her boyfriend has her phone and has not put this back on vacation status which it should be kind of breaks my heart every time I’m on here and see her on my listings it’s been rough especially for her best friend Erica I’m not sure if you know her

Her friend Erica on here who is noescape2009 And I think she has another account was her best friend for life I did have many conversations with Roxanne we texted a lot I knew her since I had been on Poshmark I actually spoke with her the day before she passed away as far as what happened

@lolas_boutique_ I can only say it was a unfortunate miss fortune with medication that’s about as detailed as I really want to get into it on here it wasn’t good and very very sad if you would’ve talk to me a year ago about this I’m not sure if I could’ve really talked about it I was very devastated still and she still in my phone I don’t have the heart to take her out she was a very lovely person very nice girl i miss her she was a true friend

@naturalmuscles I tend to get close to people very fast! I trust and get hurt. I actually have no friends anymore. Honestly I can say it’s not bc I’m me we just all grew separate ways and I just stayed close to my immediate family only. I got hurt too many times by friends I gave up. But would love to have that ...just one good girl friend. My 25 and 19 yr old kids still live at home with us and I have 4 small grandchildren that are also here and I would go crazy without them.

@naturalmuscles My daughter has dysautonomia and hasn’t moved out yet it got really bad but is at bay now for the most part. It is still there but she’s not passing out and all the stuff that goes with it as much. She felt rushed to have kids and started very young but is the most AMAZING mommy ever! She’s not went to one party or club since having these kids 9 years ago . Oldest is 9. Youngest is 1. Not that clubs are bad. She just has a 100% focus on them.

@naturalmuscles we all just have each other. My extended family is so jealous they talk and are nasty to us. My mom was the black sheep so it got passed down. All I have in my mind is my aunt and uncle so we are thinking of just moving to Florida near the beach and Disney starting some kind of business and just having fun. I’m 45 still until Monday!!!! Husband is 55 so we want to take them down there and just live a fun life.
