Tommy Hilfiger Vintage Y2K Purple Velvet Rayon and Silk Button-up Shirt

Tommy Hilfiger Purple and Navy Button-up Shirt Velvet material, 82% rayon, 18% silk Features soft velvet exterior in a beautiful bold purple color. The sleeves can be buttoned long, or cuffed. When cuffed, the inner sleeve reveals navy velvet. The inner neck is also a navy velvet. The shirt has a slight high-low hemline. Approximate measurements: 28-29" length 23" pit to pit This beautiful, silky button-up shirt was purchased sometime between 1997-1999 at the Chicago Neiman Marcus. It was rarely worn, and it's been stored in a pet-free and smoke-free home. There are two small stains on it -- a small circle stain to the right of the bottom two buttons, and an oval stain on the bottom left. The seller has not attempted to remove the stains. Otherwise, no other flaws. Read on below for the history on this garment! :) --- I got it as a middle schooler in the '90s. My fancy aunt took me to Neiman Marcus, where I had my first manicure, ate lunch at a restaurant Oprah sometimes frequented, and gawked at the expensive clothing. My immediate family was middle class and the entire experience was so exciting to me, and something I still remember today. She told me she would buy me one item. I picked this one. It's a very cool shirt, reminiscent of the late 1990s. ---
