A single-breasted coat made of authorized navy blue fabric with one welt left breast pocket, and four 35‑line navy eagle buttons on the left front Construction of the coat is the same for both Officers and CPOs, with the only difference being headgear ornamentation and sleeve insignia. Officers and Chief Petty Officers (CPOs) wear Navy eagle gold buttons. Note - the coat with two breast pocket flaps may be worn as long as serviceable.
