VIRGIN WOOL GABARDINE 40’s 40s Tan & Hand Beaded Copper Glass Swing Jacket L XL

INSTAGRAM- @shopchickaboomvintage 🤎 1940’s Vintage TAN & Copper Glass HAND-BEADED Gabardine Swing Jacket L/XL 🤎 This is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL, latte colored, WOOL GABARDINE with hand sewn, COPPER glass beads with an Aurora Borealis finish. Made in San Francisco by Fannette’s Famous For Coats and features Forstmann Virgin Wool. Swing cut with padded shoulders, wide, slightly belled sleeves, full curved cut, corded Smiley pockets, point collar, heavily pleated shoulder yokes with blind stitching. Crepe lining. Cold glass COPPER color with an Aurora Borealis finish. Soutache styling. The back of the jacket has a scooped back yoke and the beading has pointed, scalloped peaks. MEASUREMENTS- Open Cut allows this to fit a MEDIUM to XL size. I’m a 38 inch bust currently. Bust- fits 38 to 50 inches Shoulders- fits 15 to 19 inches Length- 26 inches Sleeves- 21 inches Waist- Open CONDITION- 8 out of 10. Has some minor issues. The lining has a few moth nibbles (nothing to write home about and obviously can’t be seen when worn. The jacket is nearly flawless, but has a pencil eraser sized moth bite at the back right shoulder. This CAN be mended. Right sleeve cuff has a pin sized nibble & a half inch of beaded soutache missing by the seam, but has been secured. At the back right neck, there is one tiny pen sized mouth nibble.
