They have pockets that open all the way through and velcro to make tight around the bottom of the ankles These pants are to wear over regular pants when working out in the rain. Measurements from the website and do not guarantee fit: Waist 36 to 38 Weight of person to fit 175 to 195lbs Pants length(not on website, but approximately 42.5). These are rain resistant. I can not guarantee they are fully waterproof.
