Vintage 1950s Chrome Jet plane Cruet set salt pepper shakers silver blue

Vintage Chrome Jet plane Cruet set circa 1950 Chrome plated body. This was my mother-in-laws. We think she got it from one of her brothers when they were in the military and were in London. The wings shaped to hold Salt & Pepper shakers in the form of the Jet engines & shakers with pierced outer case detail. Bristol Blue glass linings, [the pepper Shaker blue glass rim is slightly broken- see pic 13] but it doesn't hinder the top from going on and off as it is inside the shaker lower than the blue glass. Under plane rear tail stamped REG.NO. 876205 dates the design to 1955. Chrome plating has some tarnishing on the plane - see last 3 pics. The pepper has a slight dent in the top - see pic 11 and the salt has tarnishing on 1 side - see pic 12 The hook to attach the salt shaker to the plane is missing but the pepper has it. See pic 10. The 2 crests say London Airport. They came off with use. My mother-in-law put the crests in the shakers so they wouldn't get lost once she stopped using them. see the video.
