Vintage ‘80’s Silver-tone Pierced Earrings with Turquoise

These earrings look very Native American, boho. They look like there’s a story to them but I have no information other than they belonged to a friend’s Mother. They are a silver-tone triangle with point down. There is a design etched into the triangle. At the top is an oval turquoise gem surrounded by silver-tone dots. Under the posts of both earrings is, what looks like, a wolf carved into it. I tried to get a picture of it but couldn’t really capture it. For pierced ears. Excellent preloved condition.
