Vintage Antique 1910-1914 Heavy Cotton (Muslin) New Old Dept. Stock Women’s Sleep Dress Collectible Unfinished Button This sleep dress “Wendy” GOWN was retrieved from an Eastern US closed Dept. store Inventory 1910-1914. The gown was never worn and is “unfinished” in that it needs buttons for the front placket closure and two 1/2” button holes. Heavy cotton (muslin) fabric in an XL size. Back shoulders 19” Bustline flat 26”, Neckline opening 20” Arm opening 18” Length from shoulder 48”, Hemline surround 80” High neckline with 3” eyelet ruffle. Intricate 12” x 8” (at the top) graduating size double panel SEWN PLEAT oblong insert placket panel with a 1/2” BLUE design ribbon binding trim, eyelet outer edge and theee button hole closure. Three quarter pleated top fullness sleeves with cuffs and eyelet trim. Back bodice center gathered fullness. Flat fell seams thruout. Under arm insert panels for affect fullness. Half inch sewn hemline. Issues from age. Two or three small iron stains (photos). Left side upper placket, eyelet lace trim is torn with a 1/2 tear in fabric requiring stitching. Needs 3 front buttons. Gown has been washed, bleached. General age or dirt spots may need treatment. Excellent condition for age. Well made. Sturdy. Wearable, collectible or STUDY
