Vintage Elgin Model 799 Women’s 10k Rolled GF Watch Face Not Working

This watch face was pulled from an estate jewelry lot. No information from previous owner but it looks he be not working. Looked like a watch worker put a date of 11/14/1971 on the inside for maybe a repair date to the watch. There are scratches on the sapphire glass face. Sold in as is condition.
