Vintage Girl Scouts Sash with Merit Insignia Patches Badges and Pins This is a really cool find. Extremely old Girl Scout olive green stash with a variety of merit badges and insignia pins. You can tell the difference between these vintage ones and the newer ones created by factory machines. You can almost see how some of these look almost hand-created. They are so cool! My favorite is the sewing one. These are a really neat collectors item but I would almost love to remove a few to repurpose for an up cycled vintage look on clothes/jackets. That was my plan when I bought it but I didn't have the heart to tear out the vintage stitches that make this so special. Kansas City #442 Condition: Very good vintage condition. I don't know the exact age but in showing this to someone who is very familiar with Girl Scouts they dated it to circa1960.
