Vintage Merrill Woolens herringbone skirt suit

Vintage Merrill Woolens herringbone tweed skirt suit. Unsure of decade, Possibly 1940’s/1950’s, this incredible tan/brown/black herringbone tweed skirt suit is such an amazing vintage piece. Brown collar, sleeve edge and small front pocket accents. Button front jacket. Skirt has a side zipper with button closure that may need to be replaced, sticks quite a bit. Jacket inside lined with some stains on lining under arms, skirt is partially lined with back pleat fur added movement. Vintage size 10 (tag on skirt intact, jacket size tag has worn off), please see approx measurements to assist with fit.
